A little fishing hole on Cow Creek near my home. You can catch stripers, trout, bluegill and peace of mind there.
This is a target range set up for the West Coast Masters knife throwing competition.
Thanks to Carl Geddes who helped me set it up and painted the targets.
This is a Sacred Place.
The fish I got with that spear was 2 feet long. My young cousin and I  broiled it on a sharp stick and watched the smoke from our fire brush the rocks already dark with 3000 years of similar flames. Sitting in the shade of a cottonwood growing inside the earth to eat our meal was close to being a sacrement.
Ritual of Intent

Here I stand.  My two feet on the Earth as it should be.
For I am the Walker.
I extend my thoughts into my needs.  My needs become entent.
My entent becomes a portal through which I see what is required.  I become the essence of that which is the force and direction of the Universe. I call it/myself Woden** I manifest those things within me that are of Woden.
I feel the pain of searched for knowledge in my eye.
I feel the weight of the Feathered Ones  on my shoulders.  I feel the passion for my children who walk the Earth.  My blood sings the song of the Mother.  I am strong as the Earth is strong.  I am the beginning of this..... I become what is. Now my mind and the will of the Earth are as one.  I see with my one good eye what must be..  I give thanks to those who went before me so that I am here to make this so. By my craft.  By my will.  By my blood in and of the Mother Earth.
This shall be. For I have said it shall be.
** For different goals Different Manifestations are called on:  Freya for love and Healing.  Tyr For the health of crops and the creatures we tend. Thor for gathering in the strength of a Storm, Courage  and Creation of things of Power. Baldur for Crafting and  diligint effort....Etc.  They are ALL within Us... Call them what you like....
Here I am wearing my Sacred Leathers next to my Sacred Harley!!  A 1997 Heritage Soft Tail Classic.
