Meeting My Granddaughter

| Mom's
80th birthday was October 2, and we had a family get together for her. I
invited Shonda to attend so she could meet the rest of the family. She
said she would come. The party was held on Sunday, October 1, 2000.
Shonda arrived and brought her daughter, Rachel - my granddaughter. Rachel
is a beautiful girl. Her interest is basketball and apparently is very
good at it. I asked how her team did, and she said last year they were
26-0! Can't get any better than that! Shonda gave me a picture of Rachel,
which you can view below.
Shonda got to meet most of her cousins that day, and has met just about all the family. I regret that she will never know her grandfather. I think he would have been proud of her. The next page has photos of Shonda that she gave me at our first reunion.
