SHONGALOO, LA - Funeral services for Logan Drake O'Neal, age 4, of Shongaloo, LA will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, November 6, 2000 at the Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill with President Brad Herzog of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Magnolia Branch, officiating. Burial will be in the Springhill Cemetery.
Logan passed away Saturday, November 4, 2000 at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer since November, 1998.
He is survived by his parents, Jeri Regina "J.J." and Lonnie David O'Neal; a sister, Lindsey O'Neal, all of Shongaloo, LA; maternal grandparents, Debbie and Don Lindsey, of Springhill, LA; paternal grandparents, Yvonne and Wade O'Neal of Shongaloo, LA; maternal great-grandparents, Monty and William Thurman, of Springhill, LA; Jackie and Hubert "Buddy" White, of Minden, LA; and a host of aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers will be Lonnie O'Neal, Mark O'Neal, Chris O'Neal, Mike O'Neal, Terry Lindsey and Chance Lindsey.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the St. Jude Children's Hospital, 332 North Lauderdale, Memphis, TN 38106.
Visitation will begin at 3:30 p.m.today at the funeral home.
