Phase #4 - Invent Your Own!

So, as of now.. you have a paragraph with 26 invented Shakesperian words, A copy of Jabberwocky with the made up words and their parts of speech... and you just finished making Jabberwocky your own! (With much thanks to Shakespeare!)

Now... it is time for YOU to make up your OWN word. You will be Shakespeare now. Find a word that you use... and CHANGE it!

For Instance: If I wanted to change the word "Walk" to "Shuffleato", I am allowed!

For 2 weeks, you are to use your new word whenever you can... around friends, around family, around neighbors! Explain to them that you are trying to get a new word in the dictionary!

Your assignment in Phase 4: Keep a journal (just a paragraph a day) explaining how the experiment is going. Did you hear your friend say the word in the hallway? Did your neighbor tell his friends, too? Try to keep it alive for as long as possible! Include this journal in your portfolio.
