Phase #1 - Shakespeare's Invention

Everyone knows Shakespeare for the literature that he has given to the world. Most people have read at least one Shakesperian play. However, he has given us much more than his plays... He has given us the gift of words and expressions.

For Phase #1 you must explore the website http://ciconline.com/bdp1/.

Make sure you have speakers and a fast internet connection. If you do not have one at home, you can use the school's lab.

When you get into the website, feel free to enjoy the entire site, however pay special attention to the section Pen to Paper and then Invented Words.

In order to move on to Phase 2, you must write a short essay (no more than a page) using the 26 "Shakespearian Invented Words." If you do not know the definition... get thee to a dictionary!
