It's up to you but you are advised to use a separate email address as your PTR account. Yahoo's is free, has a large inbox limit of 5MB(more than double Hotmail's) and rarely bounces mail unlike many other free accounts.

Medium Minimum Payout Level
Earn money reading emails with paid to read email programs! The PTR programs listed here have their minimum payout levels set at a level between $5 and $15 which is about the average level. I tend to find these sites pay better than those which promise either no minimum payouts or set them at around 50 cents etc.

Maniac Mail is one of the oldest paid to read email programs out there and it's still going strong. Minimum payout here is $10 but this will be easy to reach even without a downline, it make take a few months, but the emails are regular and usually pay 1 cent or more per click. Downline builders will be pleased to note a 25% referral percentage on the first level and a combined 55% over all levels which basically means regular $10 payments if you put the effort into promoting your referral links. Recommended as a good, stable paid to read program. Go There!

Typically every email is worth more than $0.01 and have several links and a bonus prize link which can earn you over a dollar if you win. There is usually something fun going on around the site to earn more cash as well if you want to take part. Payout here is at $5 and there are five referral levels starting at 15% commission.

HTMail
|

HTMail is the site to sign up with if you don't want to get an inbox full of paid emails every month but still want to earn a few dollars every now and then from the paid to read phenomenom. HTMail typically sends out one or two emails a week which pay $0.12 each(12 times more than that of most other programs!) if you submit a brief feedback form on the site you are sent to look at or $0.02 if you can't be bothered. They do have a referral scheme but you only get paid when someone completes the feedback which can rather stunt your earnings...as an example, I have 32 referrals right now and have earned $0.00 from them apparently lol. This site has been around for a number of years now and has a good reputation for paying on time but it takes a while to get to the $10 without much referral action...your experience may differ of course!
