Paid Surveys - UK and Europe

UK/Europe residents can get paid to complete surveys here. Paid surveys, paid opinions, paying mystery shopping assignments and other cash and prize earning opportunities for United Kingdom and European residents can be found below. Recently an opportunity to be paid testing websites has been added so there is something for everyone here! I use all these so I can personally vouch for(or otherwise!) the sites listed on this page.

This section is specifically for UK and European residents. Members of other countries may find they are either unable to join or unable to be paid by these companies and are advised to look in the international section instead.

GoZing

Get paid to watch movies film trailers at GoZing and earn up to £25 per completed consumer opinion survey. Gozing is especially active in surveying the opinions of British and American residents. In addition, you get the inside scoop on new movies as you'll see the trailers before they go on general release. GoZing now also sends consumer opinion surveys on a wide variety of other subjects so there are even more paid survey rewards to be earned here. Go There!

ACOP

ACOP pays up to £30 per completed survey which typically takes around 10 to 15 minutes to complete. As an ACOP survey panel member you'll receive several surveys a month with payment coming fast after completion. ACOP are an international survey panel with paid surveys available in many languages but seem particularly active in the UK. Go there!

Ciao!

This UK/European based 'opinions site' typically sends me around 2-3 paying surveys a month. Rewards so far have ranged from 50p from a very short one on chewing gum to £15 for a focus group study on popular music although the average seems to be around £2-£3 per survey. Ciao also allows its members to express their written opinions on products they have used, places they've been, books, movies, music etc. for further rewards and you don't have to wait for an invitation to get involved with that section. Simply check out their product directory, find something you want to write about and away you go, it's that simple! I tend to earn around £10-£20 a month here(mainly through writing reviews in their product directory) but there is also a thriving international community of friendly consumers at Ciao which can be just as rewarding in other ways. There are also French, German and Spanish Ciao sites, the links to which can be found at the bottom of the UK/Ireland homepage. You'll find the link to register in the top right corner of their homepage. Go there or read more...

Ipoints

UK only. Ipoints is primarily a shopper reward site but recently they seem to be partnering with a variety of different survey companies as well who see the administrative benefits of using this internet currency as opposed to cash payouts to reward their panelists. NOP and Consumerlink(two very active survey sites) both reward their respondents with ipoints and currently there is a survey on the ipoints site itself(found under the "new partners" link) which pays all ipoints registered respondents £1.50 for its completion. What are ipoints? In many ways the scheme works like your supermarket clubcard - you shop online as you were going to anyway but if you click through from ipoints when you do so then you earn points for doing so which can then be spent at a large number of different places like Amazon and CD-WOW. The difference with ipoints however is that you can also earn points without spending a penny by signing up to newsletters, taking trial offers or, as is probably of most interest to anyone visiting this site, by responding to surveys and polls...amongst other things! Go There or find more shopping reward schemes here!

Survey Savvy

If you are looking earn extra money online then Survey Savvy is one of the best paid online survey companies out there. Free to join, open internationally and accepting UK survey panel members, Survey Savvy pays cash for every survey you take (as long as you meet the demographic requirements) which means no wasting your time on prize draws, points and competitions. Be sure to completely fill out your panelist information as this will greatly increase your chance of receiving regular surveys here. Better still, you can earn money at SurveySavvy without taking a single survey! Tell you friends and family about the company using your special referral link (found in your account area) and you will earn $2 for every survey they take and $1 for every survey THEIR friends take as well. Payment is made by cheque and yes, they do pay.

new!Consumer Lifestyles Survey

Complete the consumer lifestyle survey with these guys and you will be given money off vouchers for a variety of different things. Each month, there will be more competitions and freebies up for grabs as well. Please note that Consumer Lifestyles are permission marketeers so they will send you money saving offers and other special deals to your inbox when you register with them. You can however unregister any time you choose if you find their offers to be undesired. Go There!

MyOffers

MyOffers is a competition site which asks you to complete(very brief) surveys to enter their prize draws. Your chances of winning probably aren't that great but when the prizes on offer are often things such as family holidays, cars, thousands of pounds in cash and it only takes seconds to enter each draw then it becomes a little more interesting. Note: MyOffers are different to other paid survey companies in that under their terms and conditions by completing their competition surveys you are allowing other companies to contact you regarding your answers unless you specifically say otherwise. If you do not want to be contacted in this way be sure to either check the box at the end of each survey which denies them this access or use an email account you don't mind getting additional junk mail on. Go there!

new!Pick Them

Answer some very brief surveys here and you will gain prize draw entries to win such things as sports equipment and a mini-cooler fridge. The surveys here are available on site so there's no waiting around waiting for an email invititation to take part as with most of the sites listed here, instead you just log-in, pick the survey you are interested in and away you go. Surveys here are brief and fun so there's no reason not to take a look even if you aren't into competition based surveys.

Survey Spot

Take surveys and get cash, prizes, and rewards! Join SurveySpot today and let your opinion be heard...and win! (US, Canada & UK). Survey Spot guarantees to allocate at least $10,000 a month for prizes and awards to its members' participation. Some surveys offer cash rewards directly, others gain you entry into a prize draw or qualify you for other incentives and rewards. Prizes here can be big, in the region of thousands of dollars so it's well worth checking this one out even if you are not too keen on prize draw surveys. They are also extremely active at the moment in my experience! Click Here

KNOTs

KNOTs is a European survey site open to panelists aged 16 and over. Currently it is only looking for members from the UK, Spain, The Netherlands, France, Germany, Italy and Belgium but keep checking back if your country is not listed as they may be expanding their outlook over time. You earn points here for surveys taken which can be cashed in for shopping vouchers once you excede 1100 points in most countries or 1600 points in the UK which equates to 10 Euros or £10 respectively. I seem to be getting around 250-350 points per survey at the moment and as you get a 250 points as a welcome bonus, earning enough for a voucher shouldn't be too hard.

My Voice

UK only. My Voice offers its members points for completing regular polls on the site on a range of topical issues and for filling in the occasional point boosting survey sent directly to their inbox. Surveys are not exactly regular but there are plenty of polls which are updated several times a month so it is worth bookmarking and checking back often. Users need to earn 2,000 points before they can cash in for a £20 high street voucher redeemable at a variety of popular stores although other forms of renumeration are currently being looked into. My Voice now only awards bonus points to the first few respondents to their polls although their surveys remain unchanged. If you intend to earn points from their polls then it is essential that you sign up for their email alerts as they now fill up very quickly!

You Gov

UK only. Get paid to vote? You Gov gives you the opportunity to do just that, paying you 50p per current affairs/political issue voted on at the site! They also have regular prize draws for much bigger prizes associated with their surveys, often running into thousands of pounds. Currently members need to have earned £50 before they can cash out but this figure is under review because some users have understandably complained it is set too high. Their polls and surveys are a lot more frequent these days however so it is still worth looking into regardless of whether they make changes or not. On another note, these polls and surveys really do gain the ear of those in the hotseat of power and are often quoted in the broadsheets so if you really want your democratic voice heard then YouGov.com is a great place to start. Recently UK members may have heard YouGov polls quoted frequently on the main terrestrial news channels in respect to the war in Iraq so you can actually see your opinion in action with this one!

NFO

UK only. NFO have sent me a number of surveys and requested my participation in a variety of paid market research projects on a variety of subjects. Most recently I was asked to try out a new shampoo for a week and report back on my findings for which they sent me high street shopping vouchers which is their usual means of paying for participation. NFO are a highly reputable company and well worth registering with. Go There!

That's What I Think

UK only. This site used to offer non-paying surveys only until very recently. Now you can earn "Opinion Points" for completing their surveys which can then be exchanged for Amazon gift vouchers or donated to charity as you wish. 'TWIT' (unfortunate acronym!) wants your opinions on the entertainment industry so you will get the chance to voice your opinion on upcoming movies, radio shows etc.

Visitor Friendly

Limited European countries. Visitor Friendly is an online mystery shopper site which pays its members quite handsomely for visiting websites and giving their opinion on various aspects of them. Recently I was asked to evaluate 4 online banks in a paid assignment which took around 30 minutes for an £8 reward. Residents of the UK, Eire, Germany and France are welcome to join and when they have a study which matches your demographic you will be invited along to take part. Be quick though, because you usually only get a couple of days to return your mystery shopping opinions! See also Itipi below for more of the same but more frequent assignments.

Lightspeed Consumer Panel

An international survey site open to residents of the United States(surveys in both Spanish and English), Canada, United Kingdom and Netherlands, with a French and German site to come soon. Lightspeed will only send you a few paid surveys in my experience but each month they hold a series of prize draws for all registered members who have either completed surveys, mini-polls or screeners which in themselves are worth being a part of. The top prize in the US is $5,000 for instance, whilst in the UK the top prize may only be £250 but it is one of 101 prizes dished out to active panelists each month. Some surveys earn you entries into the prize draw, other larger studies will reward you directly with cash or gift certificates for your time.

Trendscan

UK, Ireland and Germany only. Trendscan are a German market research company which offers paid surveys to Britih and German survey panelists. Surveys are paid in "trend chips" which can then be redeemed for vouchers to Amazon when you have over 300 of them. Each survey seems to earn me between 40 and 150 trend chips so you can see that reaching the actual cash-in level is very easy indeed. When you reach the cash in level you fire off an email in their direction and the vouchers arrive in your inbox with 3 days. There is also a somewhat clumsy referral scheme so if you do sign up then I'd be grateful if you could enter my email address([email protected]) into the box marked "suggestions and ideas" when you do so. Thanks. More Details...

Itipi

Itipi is a French company where you can get paid to test websites! To take part you need to download a small software program(which resembles a skinned version of an internet browser) and then once a week, log on at a specified time and be prepared to be around for around an hour. Typically you do three tests and are allocated a 20 minute time slot to complete each one although in reality the tests only take 5 minutes. Each test pays you 60p and is simply a case of clicking links as instructed so it really is incredibly easy. You get sent a cheque once you reach a certain number of points which comes promptly AND in your own country's currency which is something all other survey companies could take note about! Comentis

(Huge apologies to all German speakers - I tried my best!). Comentis offers you the chance to earn between 2,50 EUR and 90 EUR if you respond to their polls and surveys but you must speak fluent german to take part - as you may be able to tell, that excludes me! They also have a paid to read email program as well which you might also be interested in. Go There!

NetForMoney

"NetforMoney ti offre la possibilità di guadagnare collaborando con : Le tue idee, Le tue risposte, Le tue opinioni, Prova prodotto, Le tue e-mail, Il tuo telefonino, Le vetrine, I nuovi iscritti...". Money for surveys etc. - needless to say, Non-Italian speakers need not apply! Go There!
