More news from DD at the Critic's Choice Awards about the next movie from USA Today...
"In other alien news, presenter David Duchovny said he spoke to X-Files creator Chris Carter earlier in the day about their long-awaited X-Files follow-up, which they expect to shoot late this year or early in 2006. "It'll be a stand-alone horror movie," Duchovny said. "Mulder and Scully investigate one particular case that has nothing to do with alien life. It has to do with supernatural stuff."
I hope this story, at least, continues or picks up where we last saw M&S and it's not a jump back in time to a previous season...that would suck...at least in my opinion.:-)
November 30, 2004 -
I know it's been a really long time since there has been any news to report, but this came from the Sci-Fi's channel, Sci-Fi Wire newsletter: "X-Files 2 Still In Talks
The X-Files creator Chris Carter told SFX magazine that he's still trying to get a second movie based on his classic TV series off the ground. "We are in negotiations right now," Carter told the magazine. "And because it's a sequel, there are peculiar and specific kinds of negotiations that are holding us up. I think that there's an appetite for it, but I think that it's got to be good. People won't just go and see anything. Whatever happens, I'm going to do something good that people will want to go and see regardless."
As for the sequel film's storyline, Carter said, "Not a mythology one, for sure!"
Well, I hope a another movie can still happen...it's been so long now. :-(
September 21, 2003 - This week
the Official site was closed down.:-( Apparently, it was a Fox decision,
not Ten Thirteen's. As you know, there was a lot of material on the official
site for fans to enjoy, not to mention the most accurate information. With
it gone, where will we get it now? Many fans have already started sending
in emails asking them to bring it back...let's hope it works!
December 10, 2002 - Gillian
Anderson is engaged to be married! Congrats go out to her and her new fiance...
Anderson to Marry After Whirlwind Romance
"X-Files" star Gillian Anderson is
marrying her boyfriend Julian Ozanne -
November 12, 2002 - There
really hasn't been any new X-Files related news to report since the finale.
Gillian Anderson is busy with her new stage play in London and David Duchovny
and his wife Tea have a new baby boy...add that on top of both of their
acting careers and I'd say they are probably pretty busy. :-) I'm still
waiting to hear news about a new X-Files movie. Let's keep our fingers
crossed that there is one to look forward to!

after a five-week whirlwind relationship.
The American star, who has moved
to London to appear in new play What
The Night Is For, is reportedly
smitten with the British documentary
film-maker, who proposed a fortnight
ago and is planning a Italian wedding
on August 2 next year. Anderson, 34,
had met Ozanne earlier this year in
Kenya, where he was working for a
British newspaper, but their friendship
quickly blossomed into romance
after she relocated to London this
summer with her daughter Piper, from
her previous marriage to Clyde Klotz.
A friend says, "They are completely
in love. Julian is a wonderful chap.
He is gregarious and a lot of fun.
We're all so happy for them. When
they told friends that they were engaged
no one was shocked in the least. They
are so perfect for each other. He
really makes her laugh and it's so
lovely to see them together."
