The Soothing Sounds Of Lauren Frost - Old News!

Old News!

September 20, 2008 >> I'm doing my best to update. I want to make a page of all of Lauren's MySpace songs. I did, but it's really short now (found here) . I hope for it to eventually include the year of the song as well as how many versions were made available. This might take a little while, especially since I have to figure out how to do all of this stuff again after lengthy hiatus. The interview will be uploaded soon.

September 18, 2008 >> It's odd how quickly time can pass. I conducted the interview with Lauren a few weeks ago and because of the stress of everyday life, I've been unable to transcribe the interview. However, because Lauren made mention on it on her Web site, I feel obligated to at least post an excerpt today. This portion concerns the much-requested-but-never-seen Divorce: The Musical.

Me: I heard you were in a movie called Divorce: The Musical around this time, but I've never been able to find much about it...

Lauren: Thank God! No, I'm kidding (laughs). I was lucky enough [to go] on my very first trip to LA [in] the summer of '99. And that was only because I had asked my parents. I was watching TV one day and I'm like, "Wait a minute, those kids are my age." And for some reason I had it in my head that, you know, your life passes, you go to high school, you go to college, you graduate, then you become an adult, and then you become an actress.

And so it just hit me one day that, "Hey, those kids are my age." Maybe I should try out for TV, because at the time I had only been doing live theater in Chicago. So we went out to LA and one of my first auditions and my first job was
Divorce: The Musical. And it was directed by Steven Dworman, who is a lovely man.

It was actually an extremely educational process for me because it was literally the first thing I had even been on camera for. But it was also equally embarrassing, because, you know, I was super awkward in a super awkward phase (laughs). And I think in one of the scenes, I had to either kiss a boy or have a crush on a boy so I was very nervous. It was definitely a great learning experience.

Me: You don't have a copy of that, do you?

Oh God (laughs), I could probably dig it out. I don't know where it is.

There's more on the way. Including a little bit about her past as well as an inside look into her current career.

September 3, 2008 >> Just a public expression of gratitude to Lauren Frost.

I'll try to be brief in this note, but it's something that I feel compelled to write. Lauren Frost was nice enough to grant me an interview today for an article I'm currently writing. She didn't have to; she could have easily just ignored my request, but she accepted.

Without going into too much detail, I basically stuttered my way through a series of questions, making a complete fool of myself while painfully listening to my voice cracking involuntarily. I was simply star-struck. I've had to conduct interviews over the phone before, but I've never forgotten how to talk as much as I did today.

I simply cannot state this enough, Lauren Frost was extremely nice, extremely charming and just a complete doll. Though I still would have said it had today not occurred, I honestly think that any success Lauren Frost achieves is well-deserved.

Anything short of super-stardom does not match the character and talent Lauren Frost possesses.

I'm saving most of the interview for the article, but I'll try to transcribe some of it to the site.

-Jonathan

August 25, 2008 >> Just stopped by to tell you that you can purchase Lauren's new CD, Words for the Birds, at laurenfrost.com.

I apologize for the people who signed the guestbook. I need to approve the submissions and, heck, I never come around much anymore.

October 22, 2007 >> Just a couple quick notes. Lauren has a YouTube page, which you can see here. There's video or her singing and rehearsing, as well as a blog. Also, you can download an .mp3 of "Wait and See" at this page here. Also, Lauren's Web site looks to be in the midst of remodeling. You can check out the teaser front page here.

New Photo of the Moment and Quote of the Moment. I might actually update some of the information on the pages soon. I'll see if I can find the time.

October 21, 2007 >> I'll admit it. I don't update here anymore. Most of my attention is focused elsewhere. And my mom recently passed away after battling cancer for six months so you can understand why a Lauren Frost Web site that receives few hits is not my top priority.

I might start updating again, but it's almost worthless since her MySpace page is updated more frequently. But I have found a few things that could go up. Anyhow, today I got an email from Lauren's manager who wanted me to post a few tidbits:

From Randy:

"Lauren is in the famecast contest competing for $10,000. You can go here to view the page and vote.

You can also embed it into your myspace page or facebook page.

Lauren is shooting a pilot for a music show called Big Fish Little Fish. It will be the American version of a popular German Music TV show."

June 2nd, 2007 >> I haven't been updating. I have my reasons. Mostly, it's because Lauren's MySpace page is more current. But I did get an e-mail today about Lauren's street team, and because they asked me to post the link to it, I thought I would. It's on MySpace. Join today here.

February 2nd, 2007 >> Not much to say. Lauren posts from time to time on her MySpace page (which can be found by clicking here). She talks about upcoming shows and the such (which I've been slacking on and haven't added to this site yet). Plus, she added the song "Winter Love" to her page, which may be her best song ever. New videos of her too. She pals around with a little kid in one. Cute.

December 17th, 2006 >> There's an autographed photo of Lauren up on eBay. check it out here.

December 14th, 2006 >> NEW PICS FROM LAST SUNDAY'S PERFORMANCE! BroadwayWorld.com has posted ten pics of Lauren from BroadwayWorld.com on Ice. Check out pictures of her performance here. Backstage pics can be found here. And after-party pics can be seen here. She sang "My Favorite Things."

December 11th, 2006 >> New poll. Vote today.

December 8th, 2006 >> I think I've found some more info on Lauren's Broadway show (look at the Dec. 5th story below). It's called BroadwayWorld.com on Ice. According to an article on Playbill.com, the "evening's title will become perfectly clear to those attending the starry to-do." You can read that article here. Be sure to look under "Diva Tidbits."

The show will also feature Michael Arden, Laura Bell Bundy, Natalie Toro, Jill Eikenberry, Michael Tucker, Felicia Finley, Mary Cleere Haran and more. It is directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, and will benefit Broadway Cares / Equity Fights AIDS. It will be on Sunday, December 10, 2006, at 6:30 PM (Doors open 6PM). It will take place at Joe's Pub at the Public Theatre, 425 Lafeyette Street.

To buy tickets or find out more about the show, go to JoesPub.com by clicking here. Tickets are $50.

December 6th, 2006 >> I found an article about the fundraiser that Lauren and her band, the Blue Lou Boys, had participated in. It's a few weeks old, but still a good read. You can check it out here.

December 5th, 2006 >> Lauren posted on her MySpace page that she will be part of a "big holiday concert on Broadway." And she'll sing either "The Christmas Song" or "My Favorite Things." To read the whole note, check out her MySpace page here.

November 20th, 2006 >> I wasn't sure if they wanted this information leaked yet, but I think it's safe to post it here now. Lauren has a MySpace dedicated to her music and new band. You can check it out here.

The music is really good. "Back in Arizona" and "Good for a Song" are amazing.

October 27th, 2006 >> Lauren to perform with her band, the Blue Lou Boys at Imagine That! Presents a Wicked Workshop and Benefit.

November 20, 2006
6 - 10pm
Raffi's at 5th Avenue
Naperville, IL

Cost: $200 for which a portion will go towards the Mark Burnell Relief Fund.

Mark is a well known local musician who recently suffered a major medical emergency. The evening also includes a wonderful dinner and a performance by Lauren Frost and her band, the Blue Lou Boys, to preview her upcoming cd!

For more information, check out Wicked Workshop's page here.

September 29th, 2006 >> Well, unfortunately, this is six days late. But Lauren made an appearance at the Hollywood Shop Til' You Drop event on September 23rd, 2006. You can read more about it here. Let's hope that we can find some photos.

September 12th, 2006 >> ll.net has changed its address. Now check it out at http://lovelylauren.caladbolg.net.

August 22nd, 2006 >> I just saw an ad in TV Guide announcing that repeats of Even Stevens (along with Lizzie McGuire) will begin airing on Superstation WGN this fall. They will be shown in the afternoon.

July 22nd, 2006 >> New poll! Go vote. Check out the results of the last one here. Also, I quickly made a page about the awards Lauren has been nominated for and/or won. You can check that out here. I also saw a couple of misspelled words around. One day I'll have to fish all of the mistakes out.

July 21st, 2006 >> I found out that Lauren was given a Career All-Around Performer award by the Omni Youth Music Awards. I can't, for the life of me, figure out when it was given. The photo that is used on the site is one of the more recent photos; however, under Lauren's name it says, "Even Stevens," and "Even Stevens" hasn't been on in like two years. But, whatever. It was a special award. You can check it out at OmniYouthMusicAwards.com. I might have to make page dedicated to Lauren's awards.

BarbraTimeless.com has posted a couple of Lauren bits. One is a "whatever happened to" profile that, unfortunately, doesn't provide much into what has happened to her in the past couple of years. Still cool, though. Also, they provide a link to a 2004 interview with BarbraNews.com. Check it out at Barbratimeless.com.

As for the .mp3 of "On the Way to Becoming Me," I made it and it sounds fine. But, I don't have enough room left in the group/site to post it. I also have two HQ pics that I can fit, but I won't have any room left afterwards. So, I don't know what I'm going to do.

July 19th, 2006 >> More HQ pics up here. That's all of them except for two from the What a Pair 2002 show, which are really large files. I'm not sure what I'll do with those. I'm still looking for pics from the Tiger Cruise premiere. Also, as you can see (or tell from the additional pop-ups; I believe that makes 648 on this page alone) the tag-board is back up. Enjoy!

July 18th, 2006 >> Hey people. Well, I was able to upload a few of the large HQ pics. These things are taking up a lot of room, but I haven't uploaded a single thing in the past year so I doubt I'll be needing the space anyway. I've also uploaded several smaller pics. You can check them out here. There are a couple of HQ pics I have yet to upload, and that's because I can't identify the event.

I also gave the information about Lauren's demo CD its own page. You can check that out here. The page on Lauren's individual songs has also been updated. You can find that here. I've been updating for a while now, so I think I'll give it rest until tomorrow.

July 17th, 2006 >> I added a small piece about the movie Played, which at one time Lauren was reported to be part of, on the rumors page. I also removed the links to some of the old multimedia. I'm thinking of deleting some of the content to make room for more photos. There's also some other little things I still want to get to, so if you come back you may some more changes.

July 17th, 2006 >> Hey. Guess what? I changed the Photo of the Month. (I guess the last one was more a Photo of the Year, haha, that wasn't funny, but it is true). Anyway, the quote has been changed too. If I can remember how to do it, I'll make a new poll in a few days.

A note, if you will, about the quote. Lauren was interviewed last year by All About Barbra magazine. One of the questions asked said, "[D]uring my research I noticed you have a fast growing fan base that affectionately call themselves The Frosties...." You want to know where that expression came from? Me. Hot dog! I thought it up. I felt so darn special when I read that. Feel free to e-mail my dad and tell him I'm not such a failure.

I'm in such a darn do-this-crap-now mood that I'll probably get around to updating this site (removing the out-of-date-files, adding new files, adding new pages, adding new rumors, etc.) in the near future. I uploaded a lot of HQ photos at Cafe Lauren Frost. So check those out.

July 15th, 2006 >> Barbra AFI Tribute w/ Lauren Posted on YouTube. Check out the first part here, and the second part here. This stuff has never been put on video. Be sure to thank sunshineliron.

By the way, I might be able to make an .mp3 of the song too. If any of you are interested send me a note and I'll get around to doing it quicker. (By the way, the .mp3 won't be of the best quality.)

July 11th, 2006 >> For those of you who missed the 1999/2000 Timeless video, you can check out a clip on YouTube here. Be sure to thank foxnallen for posting it.

June 4th, 2006 >> Just sending out a thanks to Peter for signing the guestbook. It's a welcomed change from the spam I usually have to delete in that thing.

May 25th, 2006 >> Happy 21st birthday, Lauren!

May 6th, 2006 >> I accidentally came across some information about Lauren's CD from 2002 and some of that era's recordings. One day, I'll probably move it all to a separate page, but until then you can read it on the Various Song's page found here. I wrote it in like twenty minutes. Enjoy.

Yeah, other than that there are no updates. Nothing to report. When I came back to this site tonight, it really creeped me out. How much time did I actually devote to transcribing all those quotes from "Even Stevens"? Wow. I spent how much time making this thing? Maybe I should change the photo or something.

Oh, and by the way, Lauren turns 21 on May 25th.

October 2nd, 2005 Hey guys. I was meaning to update this yesterday, but I didn't get on till late. Anyhow, Mitchell, who you might remember from making all those Lauren Frost wallpapers and artwork, has compiled his own site dedicated to Lauren. It's just starting, but it's already better than this site. Check it out at lovelylauren.net/.

December 21st, 2005 >> New Lauren Frost Wallpaper and Picture Mods at LovelyLauren.net! Check them out at Lovely Lauren Frost.net!

January 12th, 2006 >> I found some new photos (not exactly recent, but new to me) of Lauren on Bianca Collins' Fotki site. You can see them here, here, and here. There might be more, but I have a habit of overlooking. If you see any more of Lauren on the site, send me a note. I'm sure my e-mail is somewhere on this site. Also, if you look around the Fotki site you'll see that some pictures have Lauren cropped out. So, like enjoy these photos and stuff.

November 24th, 2005 >> NEW LAUREN FROST PHOTO! There's a publicity pic up on ebay of Lauren, and it has to be THE most recent pic of her I've seen. She's got a new hairstyle and a new color. Same great smile. Check it out here!!!!! Wow, an actual update. Amazing.

October 21st, 2005 >> New Lauren Frost Forums/Community and Wallpaper! Check out the new forums on Lovely Lauren Frost! Join here today! Also, be sure to check out the new wallpaper on LLF.net.

August 31st, 2005 >> Big thank you to Stephnie for signing the guestbook!

August 2nd, 2005 >> Autographed pic of Lauren up on eBay. Check it out here. The seller says the pic is from a "charity that was cancelled."

As you can see, I haven't updated the pic and quote again this month. Is there really much of a point anymore?

July 24th, 2005 >> Thanks goes out to Lee for signing the guestbook!

By the way, it seems like I've gotten a sudden influx of Barbra fans to the site/group over the past couple of months. Has this site been recently linked on a Barbra Streisand site somewhere? If you know the answer, feel free to e-mail me at [email protected].

July 12th, 2005 >> There's a DVD copy of Timeless up on eBay that is autographed by Lauren. The proceeds from the auction will go to The New Moon Childrens Theatre Workshop. Check it out here.

The DVD is region 2, so be sure to check if it'll play in your DVD player before placing a bid. (Although, it'd be a nice collectors item regardless of where you live.)

A big thank you to the person who signed the guestbook. Thanks a ton for sharing your experience!

June 28th, 2005 >> "The Even Stevens Movie" arrives on DVD today! Be sure to pick up Lauren's final performance as Ruby. Check it out on amazon.com here!

June 1st, 2005 >> New photo and quote of the month.

May 30th, 2005 >> Okay, I'll admit that I've been absent minded lately. So, it comes as little surprise that I forgot about Lauren's birthday a few days ago. Happy 20th Birthday Lauren!

May 13th, 2005 >> As you can see, I've cleaned out all the old news. You can still read the old updates and news here.

April 18th, 2005 >> Okay, I just noticed the date and I'm gonna die trying to hand all this school work in before the end of the semester. Anyway, I've added a list of Lauren's favorite musicians/singers which I found in the interview she had with "All About Barbra Magazine." Check it out here! yes! Nancy Wilson! "Try to understand... try try to understand... he's a Magic Man..." or something.

Also, I've got a new photo (well, new, not recent) that I found. Give me a couple days to upload it.

April 1st, 2005 >> I hope ya'll are doing well. Again, a little dry on news. New photo of the month and quote. I've also updated the Discography page to include two other CDs that Lauren has taken part in. There's not much info on the discs right now. I'd like to thank Mitchell for providing the info! Be sure to check out his Lauren Frost mods here!

March 14th, 2005 >> NEW PHOTO UP ON EBAY! There's an auction for two 8x10 photos of Lauren. One of them has been posted in a lot of places by now, the second is new to me. Very beautiful too. The starting bid is $5.00. Check it out here!

March 3rd, 2005 >> Yep, I forgot about the update. But I doubt it matters much. Nothing too big, just a new photo of the month and quote of the month. I'll clear out this old news soon.

February 25th, 2005 >> "The Even Stevens Movie" will be released on DVD on June 28th, 2005. You can pre-order it on amazon.com by clicking here!

Credit: Christy Carlson Romano Fan Community.

February 9th, 2005 >> According to the Official Christy Romano Fan Club newsletter, "Even Stevens" will be put on DVD. There's no other information about what episodes will be included. However, Christy states that she is doing commentary and that there will be a game featured on the disc. Let's hope Lauren is included on some of the extras!

February 9th, 2005 >> Because it's been a little dry in terms of news, I thought that I'd post this little tidbit about Lauren I found. It's from the journal section on the Official Web site of Vanessa Campagna. Vanessa is a young performer who sang with the National Symphony Orchestra on October 19th. She met Lauren there, and Ms. Frost left a very positive impression. Check out her journal here and scroll down to October 19th.

February 2nd, 2005 >> Slow news month. However, I do have a new photo and quote of the month. I'll try to find something to update on the site soon.

January 23rd, 2005 >> Things are still slow going in terms of news, but I came across a review of Lauren's performance from the Streisand show a few months ago. Check it out here.

January 7th, 2005 >> I posted a link a couple weeks ago to some Lauren wallpaper and modified pics of Lauren. The server screwed up and the site was lost, but the Web master was able to post the content again and make another site. Be sure to check them out here! They're beautiful!

January 2nd, 2005 >> NEW PHOTO OF LAUREN ON MARGO HARSHMAN'S SITE! Margo (who you may remember from Even Stevens as Tawny), totally changed the look of her site around, and in the process, uploaded some new content as well. As you may guess from the first sentence of this paragraph, it's a picture of Lauren and Margo.

Check out Margo's site here. At the bottom of the screen, click "photos." It's the very last pic.

But be careful, folks. Just marching over to the site unprepared is not a good idea. If you feel you can look at this absolutely beautiful pic of Lauren, without, say, forgetting your name, forgetting where you live, or drooling, then by all means, test it out. I'm just saying that the amount of happiness attached to this one photo may be too much for most. I don't even remember my name now. I think it starts with a Z.

January 1st, 2005 >> Well, welcome to 2005! As with every month, there's a new quote and pic of the month. Also, the poll (after four months) has been switched. You can see the old poll's results here. It still only got 11 votes. Now that Yahoo! has this site listed in its search engine, hopefully, the number of visitors will increase. Here's hoping for more news in the new year.

December 14th, 2004 >> First off, there's been a new fact added to the Ruby Facts Page! Check it out here! (Look for the NEW! besides the title.) Also, the tag-board looks to be a no go. I've tried twice to fit it on the page the way it was a few months ago, and there's just no luck.

December 6th, 2004 >> Well, I tried to put the tag-board back up but I hit a few snags, so that'll have to wait.

December 1st, 2004 >> Yes, I'm still here. It's been a mess over the past few weeks (please don't quit the group! :-)), so I haven't been able to really focus too much on the site. But I'm here for the monthly pic and quite update. Plus, I'm planning on bringing back the tag-board very soon (as in the next few days). It does add a pop-up or two, though. Other than that, I'm just waiting for my All About Barbra magazine to arrive in the mail. Did anyone get theirs yet?

November 13th, 2004 >> I just saw a new commercial on the Disney Channel that features Lauren. It contains footage from various Disney Channel shows, and a couple are clips from Even Stevens. Keep your eyes open for it.

November 7th, 2004 >> According to the "All About Barbra" Web site, Issue 62 is "going out now." So, we should all receive our copies soon. Also, the Web site is featuring a photo of the autographed Timeless DVD that is being given away. You can find it here.

Also, here's a link to a Press Release for "All About Barbra" and its 20th anniversary. It has a (very) small mention of Lauren being interviewed in Issue 62. Check it out here.

November 2nd, 2004 >> Another eBay auction featuring TWO agency photos w/ resume. Check the description before bidding. Find it here.

November 1st, 2004 >> New photo and quote of the month. I might change the poll, though I'm not sure. Still waiting for my "All About Barbra" fanzine. Anyone get it yet?

October 27nd, 2004 >> I found an article about the Streisand tribute. This time it's from PittsburghLive.com. It was written before the show, so it's more of a preview. You can check it out here. Also, another glowing review can also be found on the site, here. If part of the article looks familiar, it's because Lauren's site posted a portion of it on her Events page.

Also, I cleared some of the old news out of the way. If you want to search through it, look for the link at the bottom of the page.

October 22nd, 2004 >> Lauren's Official Web site updated with new information! Check out the 411 on the two recent Streisand tributes! You can see it here!

October 17th, 2004 >> Lauren performs "I'm The Greatest Star" at Streisand tribute! On Thursday, October 14th, Lauren was among a select few who, along with conductor Marvin Hamlisch, took part in a Streisand spectacular salute in Pittsburgh, Pa. The review of the show stated that Lauren "delivered a flawless and vivacious... song that shows her acting ability, too." You can read the entire article here.

October 14th, 2004 >> The links now change color. It took me long enough to get that done.

October 13th, 2004 >> A new section is up! This time it's dedicated to the lyrics of Lauren's songs. I've only got three songs up so far, and I'll see about getting more in the future. Meanwhile, check it out here!

I'm also thinking about putting the tag-board back up.

October 1st, 2004 >> New photo and quote of the month. No new poll. This poll hasn't got many votes, so I thought I'd keep it up a little longer.

September 30th, 2004 >> Just a quick note regarding the "All About Barbra" magazine. The price comes to $22.30 in American currency. You can purchase the magazine, featuring the Lauren Frost interview, here.

September 19th, 2004 >> The Lauren Frost interview with the Barbra Streisand fanzine, "All About Barbra" is now available for pre-order! The All About Barbra Web site has posted a small portion of the interview here! Be sure to check it out, and while you're there, purchase a copy for yourself and find out how to win a copy of "Timeless" autographed by Lauren!

September 15th, 2004 >> There's an auction up on ebay for TWO (that's right, not one, but TWO!) agency photos of Lauren with resumes attached. The only downside is that in the description the seller points out that "BOTH OF THESE ITEMS APPEAR TO BE AGENCY IN-HOUSE REPRINTS OF THEIR ORIGINAL PHOTOGRAPHS..." One of the photos is very recent, while the other is from about a year ago when she had shorter hair. You can check this auction out (as well as get more info on the copies) here.

September 7th, 2004 >> I wanted to point this out to those of you who have a journal at GreatestJournal.com. There's a community called DC Graphics (standing for Disney Channel) that pride themselves on, of course, graphics featuring Disney Channel superstars. Looking for a Lauren Frost icon? They got one! In fact, I'm using it for my journal at this very moment!

September 3rd, 2004 >> Added a little more information on the "Holly Bowl's Celebration of Music: Past, Present, and Future." You can check it out here!

September 1st, 2004 >> It's that time of the month again! New pic of the month and new quote of the month!

August 30th, 2004 >> More pics from the "Tiger Cruise" premiere and the "Comedy Tonight" show! These are the larger versions of pics that you may have seen as thumbnails on other agency photo sites. So, head over to MediumPhoto.com, and in the "quick search" type Lauren Frost. Then ta-daaaaaa! Seven beautiful pics that you don't have to squint to see! Normally, I'd write something really gushy about how beautiful the pics are but I'm really tired. So, all that I can muster is that if you're not the type to sigh and blush, after these seven photos, you'll be changing your tune.

August 29th, 2004 >> I know that it has been a LONG time since I've last updated. Don't fret (like any of you have an inkling to), I'm still following any news that might pop up! So, in the meantime I posted some of the locations to a few events on the Personal Appearance Page. Also, a discussion about Lauren has recently broke out in our Yahoo! Group. So, if you have a gift for gab, be sure to chime in on our conversation at Cafe Lauren Frost!

August 8th, 2004 >> Well, they may only be thumbnails, but the idea around here is that no photo of Lauren should go unrecognized! Plus, these photos provide a much closer view than the ones from FilmMagic.com. What I'm talking about are two new pics of Lauren at the LA Premiere of "Tiger Cruise." Check them out on this page of London Features International Ltd.! Look towards the bottom.

August 5th, 2004 >> Well, the new game is uploaded! Flip a series of frames to complete a picture of Lauren in "Flip a Grin"! Check it out here!

August 1st, 2004 >> New photo of the month, and quote of the month! The poll has changed. Be sure to vote! The tag-board will be down for a bit, while I decide what to do with it. Other than that, I will be putting up a new game this month. Gotta run...

July 29th, 2004 >> Lauren attended the premiere of the Disney Channel Original Movie "Tiger Cruise" on the 27th! I haven't been able to find much about it yet, but check out FilmMagic.com for a few thumbnails (type "Lauren Frost" in the search). Love the glasses!

July 21st, 2004 >> First off, I found the official Web site for the "What a Pair!" Show. To check it out and find out more about what it's about, etc. click here. There are a few photos of Lauren up on the site. Three, from the most recent show, can be found in a larger form at http://www.friendsofthebreastprogram.org. However, one, from the 2002 show is provided without the watermarks that usually accompany it.

Also, I found a photo from the 2002 Young Artist Awards that I never posted. Check it out on the personal appearances page under photo 5 of the 23rd Annual Young Artist Awards.

July 20th, 2004 >> My, how summer flies! Just saw a commercial for school supplies. Let us at least have July! Anyway, I posted an .mp3 clip of "Proud, Strong and Free" at Cafe Lauren Frost. It's been a long time since it's been available for download, so here's another chance!

Second thing, a very nice person sent me an e-mail a couple weeks ago, and in it she spoke about a song that Lauren once had on her site called "I Can Dream Any Dream." Well, I had never heard of this song before, so I never got it listed on the song page until now. I don't have any other info on it (all I know is that it's wonderful, but isn't that a given?), so it's just the name that's listed, but at least it's documented now. And I'd like to give thanks to the person who sent the e-mail! Very nice of her to send a little note!

Finally, the tag-board. I've noticed that some of the pop-ups that come from it are a little... um... risqu. And the pop-ups alone are simply annoying. I'm thinking about chucking it altogether. But if you would like to keep it up, post something (clean) on the board. I'll give it until the end of the month.

July 15th, 2004 >> Well, it feels like it's been a long time since I've last updated. But let me tell you, all the moving of the site gave me enough of a fix to last for some time. However, there's been a couple of minor changes that I thought I would post.

First off, when a link to a picture is clicked, the photo will now be displayed in a nonadjustable pop-up. It doesn't change much, but I always wanted to incorporate it into the site. Second, I was looking over the links and I found that the site that housed the music file "The Man of 1,000 Dreams" removed the song when they redesigned. So, I was lucky enough to find that I had placed it on an old disc, and updated it to our Yahoo! Group Cafe Lauren Frost. I just hope I don't ruffle any feathers by doing so, but at least people who have never heard it before will still have a chance.

July 3rd, 2004 >> Two eBay auctions to be aware of. First one is an autographed photo (same one that was up a week ago), which can be found here. The other is an 8x10 w/ resume, which is located here.

July 1st, 2004 >> I took some time and uploaded another game to the site. This one is called "Slide n' Show"! Try to place the picture of Lauren back together by switching two pieces at a time. Check it out here! (Java enabled browser needed.)

June 25th - July 1st, 2004 >> Welcome to our new geocities home! You may notice a few changes here and there. There are two I want to point out. First is the game section. As well as getting a face lift, we have welcomed a new addition to our site named "Lauren's Breakout"! Be sure to check it out and to keep your eyes open for more games in the future.

Also, check out the songs page for two more links to Web pages that contain Lauren .mp3 files. Be sure to look at the bottom of the page for the updates.

I hope you enjoy the changes, as well as the fewer ads!

June 20th, 2004 >> Hey guys. Head over to Friends of the Breast Program.org for three new pics of Lauren at the "What a Pair 2004" show. When you visit the page, be sure to click the right arrow and continue to click it even if it disappears. Lauren's photos are towards the end. Two of them are easy to spot; the third is a group photo of everyone who took part in the show. Enjoy!

June 10th, 2004 >> Very cool .mp3 find today. Check out voicebank.net. Now, on this page look at the right-side of the column to find Lauren's name. This is a sample of some of the voice work Lauren has done in the past. I've never even heard this stuff before. Very cool.

June 7th, 2004 >> Well, Lauren has updated her site with info about a workshop that she'll be featured in. For further details look at Lauren's site.

There's a link on the page to the Your True Voice Web site. BE SURE to check this one out. It's got quotes from Lauren and articles about her! But it's also got a brand-spankin' new mp3 of Lauren performing "Do You Wanna Dance"! It's very beautiful and *ahem* soothing. It might just be better than The Ramones' version!

May 25th, 2004 >> Happy 19th Birthday Lauren!

May 6th, 2004 >> Ready for your heart to skip a beat? NEW PHOTOS! NEW PHOTOS! Well, OK, they're nearly a year old, but don't worry about that. Last year (August 9th), Lauren participated in a fundraising event entitled the "Hollywood Family Days Benefit." The man behind the event, Mike Myers (not to be confused with the "Wayne's World" Mike Myers or the slasher from the "Halloween" films) has posted a few pics from the event.

There are three photos on this page and two photos on this page. Aren't you glad you have eyes? Seriously.

April 13th, 2004 >> Lauren's official Web site has posted news that Lauren will be doing an interview with "All About Barbra." It's a magazine dedicated to Barbra Streisand. There's a little about the upcoming interview on AAB's Web site. Check under "news."

April 5th, 2004 >> Lauren's official Web site has undergone a few changes, including three new head shots under the photo section! Try looking through the entire site again, because the majority of the pictures have been updated! Wonderful! Breathtaking! I'm tearing up! Check everything out at LaurenFrost.com!

March 31st, 2004 >> Lauren has posted some beautiful new photos from the "What a Pair!" show. It's great to see them large and detailed! Check out Lauren's photo page here! One of them is with Debbie Gibson!

March 27th, 2004 >> New thumbnails from the "What a Pair!" Cabaret Extravaganza Show can be found on CelebrityPhoto.com!!! These include a marvelous close-up photo that really shows how much Lauren shined that night. They also have a couple of "Agent Cody Banks" premiere photos that deserve some attention! These are the first pics from the premiere (that I've seen) where she's pictured by herself. Be sure to check these out!

March 15th, 2004 >> Lauren performed last night in Westwood, CA (March 14th, 2004) at the "What a Pair!" Cabaret Extravaganza Show with Sally Kellerman! Hot off the presses are a ton of new photos from the event! Check out wireimage.com, dailyceleb.com, and gettyimages.com for the stunning thumbnails! Excellent! Check out her return to long hair!

February 16th, 2004 >> Lauren has posted a link on her Web site to an interview that she conducted with Barbranews.com. Check out the NEW photo while you're reading it! Very, very beautiful!
