Info >> Here's a weird one with some lingering evidence still on the Internet. In 2004, around the time that Even Stevens went off the air, a film titled Played appeared under Lauren's name on her imdb.com page. The imdb.com page for Played (which has since been deleted) featured a cast, a director, a writer, and a producer. One of them members of the cast was, of course, Lauren.

The initial cast list was as follows:

Rob Schneider as Rob
Mischa Mandel as Gavin Fairfax
Lauren Frost as Becca
Raymond Braun as Tom
Robert Ashwell as Angel Woodman

And the director:

Nunzio Fazio

It had a running time listed on 114 minutes and a release date of March 26th, 2004.

The page appeared legit until (obviously false) information was submitted. (At one point Johhny Depp and Hilary Duff were listed, and that's blatantly incorrect.) The page was shut down a few weeks later.

Other sites began posting information about the film (in fact one page is still up at EatoutGoOut.com here. Granted, EatoutGoOut.com is not the most reliable site for you to receive your movie news, so this should be taken with a grain of salt.)

The site Mooviees.com (again, very well known and respectable, har-har) has a page for Played posted here. Note that this page provides a budget (USD 30,000,000) a different running time (1 hour, 57 minutes), a second director (Peter Segal), a writer (Kira Willoughby), a music credit (by a band called Chyna Girl), and addition cast members:

I also heard rumblings about an independent movie Lauren was involved in around this time, but I never could find a connection between the two. So who knows? It's probably a fake. Just a rumor that got a little out of control.
