Greetings to every body

 

 

We are a part of the world links family, Syria, Lattakia.

 

The objectives of our work are:

1- Scientific Objectives:

- Gather information about different aspects of the life in a spaceship.

-Get some knowledge about space and solar system

- Get a full idea about the life of astronauts in spaceships and space stations, their daily routines, their food, excerise, etc.

2- Lingual skills:

- Enhance reading and writing skills.

- Encourage the student to share his ideas with others. this will develop conversation and communication.

- Encourage Students to start thinking in English language instead of translation.

3 - Technical:

- Enhance the ability of the students of using computer as hardware.

- Enhance the ability of the students to explore the internet to get any necessayr information by using the key words if they didnot have website addresses.

- Increase the ability of the student to summerize what he reads, in using the "search" technique in the computer programs. this will help him to find what he needs more quickly

- Encourage the students to start using the e-mail, the forum to get contact with others

 

All the work to be done is a part of the contribution of our students and their friends in other schools, and other places and the friends to come.

We will be very pleased if you join us in our project.

Time Line ~ Month Activities

February - 19th, April, 26th

1- Introduce students to Internet and the "life in a spaceship" project.

2-Share and collect  information with student participants from around the world.

3- Have students gather  information about the topic(s).

This will be don on a weelky basis: Every week, groups will search for certain topic:

- 19 February- 23 February: Give idea about the project.

- 24 February- 3 March: sleeping, and having fun.

- 4 March- 7 March: discussion of the gathered information and list them in the website

- 8 March- 15 March: bathing, toilets

- 16 March- 19 March: discussion of the gathered information and list them in the website

- 20 March- 28 March: food and spacesuit

- 1 April - 4 April : discussion of the gathered information and list them in the website

- 5 April - 12 April :work and practice

- 13 April - 17 April : discussion of the gathered information and list them in the website

- 18 March -23 April: Evaluation of the whole work by asking many questions (will be added later).
