Sociology and Psychology: The Tip of the Undergraduate Iceberg

Benedictine University offers over 42 Undergraduate programs
- programs designed for college students who have not obtained a bachelor's or degree of equal standing - two of which are Sociology and Psychology.
The Psychology and Sociology Department is part of the 'College of Arts and Sciences' here on campus.

According to Merriam Webster online dictionary, Psychology is defined as "the study of mental or behavioral characteristics of an individual or group".

When choosing a major, Psychology is for those who are "interested in a career that deals with people on a one to one basis or in a group and that uses statistics and other research skills" (Psychology at Benedictine University pamphlet).
