About
The Philippine Bayanihan Society
The Philippine Bayanihan Society is a composition of Filipinos
and Singaporeans who are accomplished and highly-esteemed in their respective fields. The Society is headed by
its President. Ms. Jennie Chua who is also the Chief
Operating Officer and President of the Raffles International
Limited. They have inaugurated the Bayanihan Center
last August 26, 2001 as a center for symbolizing the
friendship and cultural relationships between Singapore and
the Philippines. The Center would be the focal point
of the Philippine Government's programs for Filipino
Overseas Workers. This also aimed for skills upgrading,
training, education and other self-development programs.
Through cultural events and exhibitions which the Society
will organize in the grounds of the Center, the Philippine
culture and arts will be promoted in Singapore.
