Last update 13.10.03 What's new? Welcome to the Land Cruiser 75 homepage! While surfing the web for a couple of years, I never came across a page devoted to the great Toyota Land Cruiser 75. Quite a few dealer homepages had technical information about it, but usually the pictures were small and every site used the same ones. But patience pays off, and my TLC 75 folder was slowly filled with pics and facts. So, last year I finally launched my homepage, and the number of visitors exceeded my wildest dreams. This has encouraged me to maintain the site and to upload useful/fun stuff whenever I come across something. Thanks alot to everyone who has been sending me pictures and links. I really enjoy getting comments and questions about my page and the Land Cruiser 75, it's nice to see that I'm not the only one with such a strong interest for these great vehicles. Please keep on mailing me :-) Why do I care about the Land Cruiser 75 ? The reason is quite simple: At the age of 5 our family moved to Tanzania. The first half year we drove a BJ 60 and a HJ 60. The first of January a brand new HJ 75 was delivered to dads employer. It was quite a change from the worn out 60's . While driving it everything was so quiet and the air condition always kept the temperature down. We used the "hard top" for several vacations, including a 3 weeks' trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe. The hardtop as we called it was very popular among the development-aid workers in Tanzania. The size, versatility and reliability were the main reasons. Most people would use a LC 60 and later the LC 80 for their personal transport, but as a work-vehicle, the LC 75 was (and still is) unbeatable. In other words, there were Land Cruisers all over the place, and they were just too fascinating :-) All pages: Copyright 2001 Jan Schille.
