These are a few of my favorite Bible verses covering some of my favorite topics. These are good verses to have on hand both when witnessing and when following up new believers in Christ. Salvation, Forgiveness of Sins, and Redemption

John 3:16- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life."

Acts 10:43- "Of Him (Jesus) all the prophets bear witness that through His name every one who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins."

Romans 5:8- "But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

Galatians 2:16- "Nevertheless knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; since by the works of the law no flesh will be justified."

Ephesians 2:8, 9- "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God not as a result of works so that no one may boast."

Colossians 1:13, 14- "For He rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins."

Colossians 2:13, 14- "When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumsicion of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having cancelled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us which was hostile to us; and he has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

1 John 5:13- "These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God (Jesus) in order that you may know that you have eternal life."

Sin
Romans 3:10-12- "As it is written, 'There is none righteous, not even one; there is none who understands, there is none who seeks for God; all have turned aside, together they have become useless; there is none who does good, there is not even one."

Romans 3:23- "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."

Romans 5:12, 13- "Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all have sinned- for until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law."

Romans 6:23- "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Romans 8:7, 8- "The mind set on the flesh is hostile toward God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God."

The One Way and the One Lord
Isaiah 44:6- "Thus says the Lord, the King of Israel and his Redeemer, the Lord of hosts; 'I am the first and I am the last, and there is no God besides Me.'"

Isaiah 46:9, 10- "Remember the former things long past, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is no one like Me, declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things which have not been done, saying 'My purpose will be established, and I will accomplish all My good pleasure'."

Matthew 7:13, 14- "Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.  For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it."

Acts 4:12- "And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved."

The Importance of Bible Reading
Psalm 119:9, 11- "How can an young man keep his way pure? By keeping it according to Your word." "Your word I have treasured in my heart, that I may not sin against You."

Psalm 119:97, 98, 104- "O how I love Your law! It is my meditation all the day." "Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for they are ever mine." "From Your precepts I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way."

Psalm 119:160- "The sum of Your word is truth, and every one of Your righteous ordinances is everlasting."

Psalm 119:165- "Those who love Your law have great peace, and nothing causes them to stumble."

Acts 17:11- "Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so."
