The sign reads 'Entering Easthampton. Incorporated 1785.' The sign can be found both along U.S. 5 coming from either Holyoke or Northampton as well as coming down Mount Tom from Holyoke along State Route 141. Finally, you can see it along State Route 10 coming from Northampton as well as from Southampton.
