MIDDLETON POTTS TRIUMPH AT LAND AID's SUPPER QUIZ

Luminaries from the property and related professions got another chance to test their knowledge at Land Aid's 5th Quiz Supper at the RIBA building in Portland Place on 16 October.

Sponsored by AXA Insurance the evening was a great success. Guests were entertained during the pre quiz drinks/ team strategy session by Felix Rigg's (Harmon Healy) excellent piano playing and were expertly led through the proceedings by Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker's John Townsend in quizmaster mode.

The Supper was delicious and the competition to win the trophy was fierce but nothing could stop Richard Schmidt and Middleton Potts from winning for the second year in succession with Berkley Land, Ashurst Morris Crisp, Warnford Investments and Osborne Clark all in close contention.

The 'losers' cup was convincingly won by Malcolm Hollis with Layton Blackham just creeping in ahead of them.

Prizes were presented along with generous hugs by Mike Slade.

Land Aid expect the Quiz to raise £12,000 and are grateful to AXA Insurance and everyone who helped make it such a good event .
