The Pharmacy(no names)
..3..family, pets
The pharmacy is small but it's a really nice atmosphere, probably the best I've ever had in terms of co-workers and such.  There's the usual ups and downs of any job but this is the first job that I've worked at full time besides a summer job. I'll be coming up on a year pretty soon and that's cool.  The only thing that gets to me sometimes is that I've been there so long that when I do a task it doesn't take me very long because I've been doing it for such a long time that I just keep getting faster and faster and pretty soon, I'm left without anything left to do and then I get bored and complain... well not too much... I'm sure I could find something to do, but when there's no phones ringing and no customers to help, it gets hard to find things to do... Well, enough about me there for now, I have to tell you about my co-workers... they're awesome.  First there's Sheri... I don't really know quite how to describe her, she's really sweet to me even when I do something wrong, and she always dresses up even though you don't have too there. Then there's Curt who is a pharmacist and likes to be efficient and always orders a lot of each drug so that he never runs out... or something like that.  He's in his 30's, with blonde hair and he's shorter than me and everyone else there pretty much...Then there's Maranda who is in high school and is miss social butterfly.  She's the tiniest little thing ever and is very nice but she can never work if I need her to because she's always hanging out with one of her frineds.  Then we have Boyd who is just one of those guys that keeps me laughing all day or rolling my eyes if he tries to crack all those Catholic jokes of his.. He's really nice and he likes to have fun at work but is also a really hard worker like the rest of the pharmacists... oh what am I talking about, there's only three of them!  And finally there's Bill.  He's the boss and he's a got a huge dry sense of humor, sometimes I don't get his jokes, but that could be for a number of reasons. He's also completely obsessed with golf, he talks about it all the time and to the customers too, it's really funny.(see divider below)  He lives in Minnesota and Wisconsin and if Bill and Boyd are working on the same day, all they can talk about is sports, especially the Gophers... they're obsessed with the gophers and they both have a lot of Gopher logo clothes that they wear to work too.  Well I guess that's it for the main co-workers... sometime I'll start in on the stories in that place....

I think it woudl be fair to call a lot of people up by house red necks if you will. and I don't mean that meanly, it just the way some people act up here that really gets me confused sometimes...
I suppose I could start on some of those stories now from work... there are so many... where do I begin... how about with stories from before my time.  Because they happened before I got there, naturally I cannot verify any of them for myself but who cares?  The one person you will here about most is the next door neighbor Jean.  She's probably in her 70's and when she takes her meds, she's all right.  The only problem is that she never stops calling when we are there, it's always "Can I talk to Boyd please" or "Bill please" or something like that. Then she comes over and bugs us to all day but what's really funny is that even to this day and before I got there, if she needs anything, she makes Boyd do it.  For instance, one day before I was there, Jena called Boyd and asked him to come over to help her fix something or another and she answered the door completely naked... I don't know how Boyd managed to survive that.  THere also a time when he was called over and he was helping with something and somehow Boyd accidently sat on Jean's elbow and for the next week or so Jean thought she was pregnant because of it...  When I got there, she would call every morning (and still does) at about 9:30 and ask me to pick up her mail for her at the post office.  One day when I returned it to her, I dropped one of the letters and when I leaned over to get it, she farted.  I thought I was going to pass out... There are tons of stories about Jean but they are much better understood if you actually know her................
