Retrievers
was established in March
of 1996. We are located in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania (the capital
city of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania). Our breeding program
offers quality dual-purpose curly coated retrievers. Our curlies
are our hunting companions during small game season. We occasionally
show them in conformation if it does not interfere with the hunting
season and performance events, such as hunt tests.
Our goal is to breed outstanding
Curly Coated Retrievers which have correct type, sound movement,
excellent retrieving instinct, and stellar temperaments. We do
not expect anything less of our dogs! We strive to breed dogs
that are easily adaptable to the conformation ring, field, and
our homes.
All of our breeding stock will
possess the CCRCA (Curly Coated Retriever Club of America) requirements
which include hip and eye certification. We tend to like to go
further with that and have our dogs' hearts and elbows certified.
We carefully study the pedigrees of our breeding stock, and know
those pedigrees well before breeding. Breeding Curly Coated Retrievers
is very serious to us, keeping in mind that the breed is multi-functional.
