| This is the story about a family in New Orleans, the Mayfair family. It is a very thick book, and it contains many different characters. The most important are Michael, Aaron Lightner from the Talamasca, and the women in the family. When Michael almost drowned, he was saved by Rowan Mayfair, and got psychic powers after the accident. Aaron meets with him because of these powers. Rowan is the last woman in a long bloodline of witches, and when her mother dies, she inherits a big house in New Orleans. Michael gets to read a file on the family from the Talamasca, who has followed he family since the end of the 17th century. And the book is mostly about what Michael reads, but he also marries Rowan and Rowan gets pregnant. The family has a family-ghost named Lasher, that is a servant for the witches of each generation. And Lasher has but one wish, to come in the flesh |

| My comments Oh, how I loved this book! It has its boring parts, but on the whole its great! Ok, what I wrote above may not be very good, but its either short or several pages. The person I liked most in this book was Julien. Probably because hes so much like Lestat. And speaking of Julien, has anyone else noticed that she always has someone gay or bisexual in her books? And they are mostly male Hmm, I dont have much to say about this book. No complaints |
