The Wordless Book
Hi There!
Do you want to hear the story of my Wordless Book?
Watch the colors carefully and you will be able to tell the story too.
I'll start with this gold page which reminds me of the street of Heaven which
is made of pure gold.
Heaven will be a happy place for there is no sickness, no sadness or death there.
The Lord Jesus is in Heaven now getting it ready,
He said, "I go to prepare a place for you..."
John 14:2
This dark page reminds me of sin.
Sin is anything which does not please God.
When we take something which does not belong to us or tell lies or lose our
tempers or disobey, we are sinning.
God's Word says we have all sinned. (Romans 3:23)
There can be no sin in Heaven.
God loves us so much that He Sent His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, to take the
punishment for our sin.
The red page reminds me that His blood was shed that I might be forgiven.
Christ died for
my sin and was buried but He rose again three days later,
(I Corinthians 15:3-4)
If you believe that the Lord Jesus died for you, you
can receive Him as your Savior.
Just admit to the Lord Jesus that you have sinned and trust Him to wash your
sins away.
Why don't you do this right now?
The clean page reminds me that the moment we receive the Lord Jesus as Savior,
He washed away all of our sin.
The Bible says,"...as many as received him, to them gave He power to become
the sons of God,
even to them that believe on his name..."[John 1:12]
and
The Lord Jesus will stay with you forever, for He promised never to leave
you.(Hebrews 13:5)
Are you wondering,
" But what if I do something wrong?"
"As soon as you know you have sinned, be sure to tell the Lord Jesus
about it."
The Bible calls this "confessing" which means "telling on
yourself."
(I John 1:9)
The green cover of my Wordless Book reminds me to grow.
There are four ways I have learned to grow more like the Lord Jesus.
[1].
Read and obey God's Word, the Bible.
[2].Talk to God each day (pray).
[3].Tell others what the Lord Jesus has done for me.
[4].Make friends with others who love the Lord Jesus in Sunday school and
church.
In my school and neighborhood, I look
for others who love Him.
Think about the five colors in this book.
Remember the message of each page and tell the story to someone else.
