Act 4

 

 

Why there is no quotes:

 

        Act 4 is the act right before the end of the play, and as such, it plays an important role in leading the audience to the climax of the play, which happens in the tomb. This play is one of a tragedy, where the two lovers, Romeo and Juliet, will die.

       

        From this, we can tell that the theme of death plays a very significant and major role in the play, especially during the crux of the play.      

 

        Hence, it would be logical to deduce that Shakespeare would be highlighting this theme, by not penning down any lines that would bring out the theme of life, in Act 4.
