For there's an 'evil gang' within your midst
And if you are not one of them
Then you are on their 'deadly list.'
They prey upon the less fortunate
Their 'gang color' is simple gray
And they're authorized to strike at any time
Whether dark of night or light of day.
They're bound by a 'code of silence'
They're sworn to protect -- their kind
And the corruption that they're capable of
Is far beyond the average mind.
So when the nephew of 'two men of grey'
Got caught up in his life of crime
He simply said, "Unk, I'll be your snitch."
Then the 'system' gave me his time.
Because of 'family status'--- this nephew
Is yet to spend his first night in jail
While I was sentenced to life in prison
Where they hoped I would die -- inside this cell.
I was made a 'classic example' of
Because I chose to stand and fight
But I can tell you now from experience
That people have no civil rights.
I wish to share these words with you.
They're so unbelievable -- but true
With hopes you'll know what to expect
Should they choose to 'come for you.'
So "WAKE UP PEOPLE," take a good look around
I pray you do before it's too late
For all you have in life is worthless
When the 'police' holds your fate.
