See the Eagle Soar©
On a brisk, early spring morning
A great 'bald eagle' takes to flight
A scene holding both strength and beauty
To fill the human heart with pure delight.

As it soars above -- snow capped mountains
In a display of freedom and pride
It cradles the wind beneath its marvelous wings
And with dignity and grace it glides.

For centuries there has been stories
Of this bold and majestic bird
And to say it has an equal
Would seem only foolish or absurd.

So, to know now that with all its power
The 'bald eagle' is almost extinct
Should make the nation it symbolizes
At least make note -- to stop and think.

That, we, too, once held these same qualities
Of this 'greatest bird' known to man
And the fact that we are not indestructible
Is something that we must know and understand.

For America has set its own destiny
To rule the world -- by the iron fist
Without any rememberance of the 'great bald eagle'
That's now on the 'endangered' list.

We are now a nation in shambles.
Our honor is being defaced
And much like the 'great bald eagle'
We're now headed for destruction and disgrace.

We must return to what made us great.
Become a nation 'of the people' once more
For the sake of our own existence
And to once again 'see the eagle soar.'
