Camelot's Renaissance

In Webster's Dictionary, Renaissance
(French for rebirth, Latin: to be born),
is defined as the transitional movement throughout
Europe between Medieval and modern times
beginning in the 14th century (1300's) and
lasting into the 17th century (1600's).

Renaissance is marked by humanistic revivals
of classical influence expressed in the
arts, literature, and intellectual activity.
Architecture of this period is mainly
neo-classic. Medieval period is
characteristic of the Middle Ages---
---European history beginning circa
A.D. 500, and lasting up to and part
of 1500.

Decades of famine, plague, and
many-a-times warring, had taken its toll.
A common factor of the Rennaissance is
humanism...creating works, translating from
aged text, thus accounting for their
ideals and traditions.

By the 15th century, Bruni gave humanism
more completeness, making man master
of man, in a free world with free spirit
with rise of middle classes and wealth
along with knowledge.

The Renaissance era flourished, but if
you read more in history, the same
principles that brought success, would
eventually be its demise.

I, known only here as Warrior Maiden,
will bring forth some hopefully interesting
subjects that have piqued my
interest in the Renaissance era.
Below is a chart of pages I've sketched
out for other viewers.
