I have two very distinct personalities; one is very male with a loving wife of over twenty years and two wonderful children. The other is feminine and has been subdued for most of my life. I think this may have been caused by a disturbed childhood that included both a psychotic mother and an abusive older brother. I was exposed to both psychological and physical sexual abuse.
The feminine personality (Elena) was my inner self that I hid from this trauma. Meanwhile, Wes, the masculine personality became the amotional (is that a word?) rock.
