Organisational Structure

LACC is headed by a President. It has a board of Directors, which formulates the policies, plans and programmes of LACC. Besides it has an Advisory Board comprising prominent individuals, who advise the Board on matters of policies of the organisation
MANAGEMENT AND DECISION MAKING PROCESS  
LACC as a non-profit, politically un-aligned, non partisan and non-governmental organisation derives its mandate from its Constitution or the Articles of Association..

The President of LACC is the Chief Executive. She is also the chairperson of its Board of Directors. She is appointed by the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors has the powers to formulate the plans, programmes and policies of LACC It also has the powers to approve the budget and appoint the auditors.

The day-today decisions are taken by the President in consultation with the staff. Such discussions are held as per the need. Policy matter is presented to the Board Meeting and discussed over. The decision is taken by the approval of the two thirds majority votes in the Board. If the matter still remains unresolved, all members and staff are consulted to reach the right decision. The Treasurer submits statement of all financial transaction to the Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for personal polices and distribution of jobs at different levels. As of day, it has 17 women staff including managers and lawyers
