Rockin da Bridge The MUSCIT team are currently compiling the second of their free CDs featuring local bands.
This latest CD features 17 Wiltshire and Somerset-based artists and will be launched on the day of Rock The Bridge III. The first 50 people through the door(see Featured Gig)will receive a free copy.

RockStars in horror flicks. Much anticipated horror flick fronted by Irish Rock Band Ash is said to be near completion. The film hosts an array of rockstars including Dave Grohl, Chris Martin, Moby and Cold Feet star James Nesbitt. Writer Jed Shepherd says,"I am assured that even though the Coldplay scenes are what the world is going to be talking about, the real gem, the real horror, is the Charlotte(Hatherly) Shower Scene. Apparently it is the most creepy, disturbing, sexy piece of film to see the light of day and may just turn Charlotte into the next Jamie Lee Curtis!!"

Capdown/Reuben tour postponed Capdown have cancelled their entire UK tour, aside from the Brighton date, due to a "family emergency." They are to reschedule their cancelled tour for September.

New Deftones LP The new Deftones
has been pencilled in for a late May release alongside a coinciding tour(including a slot on the Download Festival bill). The band have also confirmed that the first single off the album
is to be called 'Minerva’.

Deconstruction news. Deconstruction
will be taking place at Download Festival this year at Donington Park. For the
5th time in a row an incomparable package of the world?s most influential punk
rock and hardcore bands will invade England this summer along with stars of the
pro-skater / BMX scene. Deconstruction will take over the Scuzz Stage on
Sunday, 1 June for a day of punk, skating, BMXing and lots more. Mike Davies
(presenter of Radio 1's The Lock Up) will be hosting the Deconstruction
event. The stage will feature:Nofx, BoySetsFire, The Bouncing Souls,
[spunge], Strung Out, The Real McKenzies, Thrice, T.S.O.L, Not Katie's, Randy,

Dream
Theater In The Studio Dream Theater are to start work on
their next studio album this month. Fans may expect a release later this year.
And Dream Theater drummer Mike Portony has now formed a Beatles tribute band
called Yellow Matter Custard. Also in the line-up are former David Lee Roth
bassist Matt Bissonette and ex-Spocks Beard guitarist Neal Morse.
