Common Knowledege
Comments from 3CR manager "We approached Mighty Atom because they are the hottest UK rock label right now. The majors haven't got a clue about rock music, we want to work with the right people who are doing it for the right reason and we found them in Swansea. At the moment the deal is just for 'Repeat 2 Fade' but if this goes well who knows what it will lead to?"
3cr3 Colours Red
2003 could be the year that propells recently reformed 3 Colours Red back into the big time. With countless anthemic classics alreayd in their back catalogue, who would bet against them?

3 Colours Red release their first single for over 3 years on May 19. 'Repeat To Fade' b/w 'Shopping Trolley Children' and 'Vitriol' is released on CD only by hip new rock label Mighty Atom (Home of Funeral For A Friend, Liberty 37). Here's what the band have to say on the new track "Repeat To Fade"
Pete Vuckovic "I first heard the riff on a demo around Chris' house and got genuinely excited about the 3cr reformation, it didn't sound like our first 2 albums, which to me was green light enough. The title comes from reading words to songs from pop magazines where it says 'chorus' (repeat to fade), I think it represents a few things at the moment, feelings are second to profit the world over that come out in various forms, like music, media, wars and television. Basically... Don't shut up."
Chris McCormack"We've been writing some really different songs, actually it's the first time Pete and i have written songs together from scratch and they're fucking heavy. Repeat to fade was the first song finished after reforming and nothing like anything else we've done before."

3 Colours Red re-formed last spring after a 2 year hiatus. The band, who have had two top 20 albums and eight top 40 singles played a sell-out 10 date UK tour last November before entering the studio with the man who mixed their hugely successful 'Revolt' album in 1999 Chris Sheldon (whose other clients include Foo Fighters, Idlewild and Hell Is For Heroes) to record the three tracks that make up the single.

3 Colours Red are currently on a six-week European tour with German punk band The Donots. They hit the UK for the following dates:
April 2003
03 Manchester Academy 2
04 Dudley JBs
05 London Mean Fiddler
06 Glasgow Garage
07 Leicester Charlotte

3 Colours Red headline the shows, supported by the Donots and new US rockers Lucky 7.
