3CR sign new deal.
3 Colours Red have signed a singles deal with Mighty Atom to release 'Repeat 2 Fade' b/w 'Vitriol' and 'Shopping Trolley Children' on May 12. More tour dates will be announced soon to coincide with the release.

Buzztone win Kerrang! competition
Swindon punksters Buzztone, will get to tour with popular Moon Ska outfit Farse and main tour support Schism throughout March, playing the following dates. Thursday 20th March @ Northampton Soundhaus, Friday 21st March @ Cambridge Boatrace, Sunday 30th March @ Leicester Charlotte, Tuesday 8th April @ Boston Axe & Cleaver, Wednesday 9th April @ Milton Keynes Woughton Centre, Monday 14th April @ Norwich Arts Centre. As a result, the band are also featured on page 8 of this Kerrang issue.

Rancid in the studio
California bay punk legends Rancid, are working on their 6th studio album, with a release date being penned in for June 2003. The record is to be produced by Bad Religion's Brett Gurewitz and is the bands first album since the critically acclaimed self title release in 2000. Gurewitz has said ",The new stuff is completely amazing. The songs and energy from the band in the studio have completely blown me away."
