Discipline

Discipline is a joyous pursuit that ensures song functioning of the institution. The ultimate object of Kendriya Vidyalaya ONGC Panvel is to inculcate a sense of self-discipline in the students.

1. The school day begins with the assembly prayer attended compulsorily by all students and teachers.

2. On school days pupil should wear the school uniform. Personal cleanliness and hygiene is expected from all. Students  without wearing uniform will not be allowed to attend the classes. (except class I - III on birthdays)

3. Irregular attendance, habitual idleness, disobedience or objectionable moral influence, justifies dismissal

4. No student may leave school premises during working hours (including recess) without written permission of the principal, or written application from the parent/guardian, sanctioned by the principal.

5. Pupils must take care of their own things. The school can't make itself responsible for books, money, and other articles that are lost.

6. Any kind of damage done on the premises will have to be made good by the defaulters.

7. All should be particularly careful not to throw any paper, poly bags, & peals, seeds etc. anywhere on the school premises except in the bins provided for this purpose.

8. Pupils are strongly recommended not to buy eatables from street vendors, since it can cause serious health hazards.

9. Pupils should bring nutritious lunch including fruits.

10. Whenever called/invited, parents must meet the principal first and then the teachers.

11. Parents are requested not to visit the classes directly.

1. Participation in any act prejudicial to national interest.

2. Moral Turpitude.

3. Practice of casteism, communalism and untouchability.

4. Theft or cheating

5. Use of violence in any form.

6. Rowdyism or other rude behaviour.

7. Any form of gambling.

8. Use of any drugs or intoxicants, smoking & chewing beetle leaves.

9. Spitting or urinating in or near Vidyalaya property except at places provided for the purpose and other unhygienic and anti-social activities.

10. Truancy
