PHILOSOPHY 1317
Introduction to Christian History and Thought
Welcome to the beautiful and inspring world of Christian history and philosophy.  During your time in this course, you will explore the various people, places, and events, doctrines and dogmas that have shaped the faith of millions of believers for over 2000 years.  As with any academic survey course, we can only present a thumbnail sketch of the richness and complexity that weaves the greatest tradition the world has ever known.  As your guide through this course, I hope you will take away with you a deeper understanding of the Faith, a desire to learn more about your own faith (Christian or otherwise), and a motivation to pursue the splendor of truth through faith and reason. --KTH
