Girls Indoor Track:

The girls indoor track team just keeps getting better and better.  To beat record scores, it takes hard work and a lot of practice.  No problem, because that's exactly what the girl's did this year.  The team got second in the Bayside Championship.  Freshman Sarah Straka stated, "We did well in the Bayside's and were one of the top teams."  The girls have been really strong this season.  Junior, Carla Taylor said, "I'm proud of the track team so far.  We have done pretty well and have had a great outcome."  With an experienced coach and a boat-load of talent, why shouldn't the track team be on top?

Boys Indoor Track:

Though indoor track doesn't receive as much attention as other sport teams, it is quite a competitive sport.  "The practices were very difficult especially leading up to the regional competition.  I really enjoyed indoor track and I am looking forward to the outdoor season," stated Ryan Brown.
Although it took a lot of the hard work in preparing for the meets, the track participants have all become friends and have been able to learn from each other along the way.
Freshman, Anthony Perlozzo said, "Indoor track was a great new experience for me.  I had fun meeting new people...you'd be surprised some of the things you learn from your team mates."  The long practices paid dividends at the Bayside and Regional Meets.
