Mr. Russo

Mr. Russo is the head coach  of the track team as well as an English 12 teacher. He generally works with the sprinters, shot putters and discus throwers.

"Coach Chowder," exclaimed the distance runners before practice.  Coach Ryan Cowder has been with the distance running team every since he joined the school staff three years ago as a chemistry teacher.  During the summer months he spends his time in Ocean City as a life guard.

Mrs. Russo, works with the high jumpers as well as the runners.  During the school day you can find her at her desk in the guidance office where she diligently works as a secretary to keep the guidance counselors in order.

Mr. Zirkel is a track team assistant.  He primarily works with the high jumpers but he also helps with the hurdlers and shot putters.  During the day, he can be found around his farm feeding animals.   During the summer, he can be found working with Mr. Cowder as a life guard.

Mr. Ridick is know as "the toothpick man." He is an assistant that works with the shot putters and the discus throwers during the Spring.  He also judges the long jump competition.  During the day, he can be found in his classroom teaching health or on hall duty chewing on a toothpick.
