Kokkino Nero is one of the oldest and most traditional villages in the area. It is situated on the east side of the mountain called "Kissavos". The village offers to its visitors a unique combination of sea and mountain. It is truly surrounded by a breathtaking green and blue scenery.

Outside the village and within a short distance you will find the famous "Kokkino Nero" spa (Kokkino Nero literally means Red Water in Greek!). This carbonated water, which is rich in thionic iron ingredients, is well known for its therapeutic features.
