The Rainbow Bridge is said to be the place where our pets wait for us after they have died. It's a beautiful spot where they have all they need and lots of friends to play with. One day they see you coming and run to meet you and accompany you over the bridge into Heaven.
A number of Cockers await me there.

"When tomorrow starts without me..
don't think we're far apart,
for every time you think of me..
I'm right here in your heart."

Queen Köhlchen v. Drackenberg

Our dear Queen Mum was given sleep after a second stroke, at the age of thirteen - all too early!
She was a bundle of energy from the start, cost me many a nerve and could never stand still for more than a few seconds, the result being so many Res. tickets that I could paper the kitchen with them! She was the best mum I've ever known - once her babies were weaned, she transfered her energy to keeping them well supplied with branches etc. which were dragged from the garden, through the house and up a flight of stairs to the puppy-room!
She will never be forgotten!

We lost our darling black girl at the same age and in the same way

Indira vom Schloß Zeiler Berg

I called her Biche and she was a gentle and beautiful girl. On the other hand she loved nothing better than straying through the village if ever she found the front door open. She knew every kitchen for miles around and everyone fell for her charms. She was my constant companion.

And now, quite suddenly and totally unexpectedly, we have lost Mascotte, aged only seven - presumably after a heart-attack in her sleep - always the most gentle of my gang and the girl who accompanied me most on my visits to the local Old People's Home.
We miss her so much.
