We have the honour of being able to share our home with Cocker Spaniels, which have the run of house and large garden, all of which used to be out in the country, on the outskirts of a small village that boasted cows, pigs, chickens etc. but which has gradually been built up to the extent that we now have neighbours! Nevertheless it's a reasonably quiet spot. We have been here since 1969 and I had cockers long before that but before we married in 1968 my husband had never had a dog at all. Needless to say it's he who does the spoiling of my girls, especially since we retired and he has more time with them. |
