Singer
Amidst Sepulchres
So
you have come with flowers ,
To meet your long dead father.
Wild flowers beside his grave ,
Greet you with a smile.
But
something cathes your attention ,
As you turn around.
You see me walking out of cemetry,
Whistling as I had a good day.
you
wonder now,
Who is he ?
What is he doing here ?
How dare he destroy ,
The sweet serenity of this place.
With a whistle that is
Simply disturbing.
I
am a singer.
I
sing for -
Those who are alive,
But is as good as dead.
The who are dead.
But still live among us.
Those who want to die ,
But are busy living.
And the ones who want to live,
but are busy dying.
I
sing for all,
Who have no one to take care.
It's living people ,
I don't have time for.
They all lie ,
And cheat too often.
But
what they don't know,
Is a simple fact,
They all look the same,
Six feet under.
Engaged
in a fight from ,
Birth to death.
It's in their grave,
They find eternal peace .
Color
,gender ,religion -
Within the walls of cemetry,
They all cease to exist.
Too bad ,
You have to die once -
To see it.
I
come here everyday.
To see the ones ,
Who are not -
Remembered anymore.
Once in a while ,
I see some with flowers .
Their tear dumps,
And wasted flowers.
It's
funny ,
And its hard to say.
Are they happy ,
Because you are dead.
Can you change their thoughts ,
Now that you are dead.
Work
towards immortality.
Listen to the song of singer.
As he sings again,
Do good ,be good.
Love them when they are alive,
And die with a peaceful heart.
Never
let your child or father,
Say it with pride.
I Haven't talked to him
For fifteen years .
Behind their veils of pride,
I can see dried up tears.
Tears that vitnessed ,
Their lonliness.
Never
be fooled by their silence.
I can see them everyday,
Waiting for your flowers -
In their graves .
Hoping you would come.
And embrace them with your heart.
Till that day,
I will sing to them -
Your everyday story.
It's
time for me to leave,
There is somebody with flowers.
Do not be surprised tomorrow ,
If you see that sight.
A singer in full glory,
Beside your dear ones grave.
