Just Wanna Do My Thing:
TTP

album featured in lyricalfile clik on album to view!
Its been over a year since we last heard from this garage-ridden artist. Now for whatever reason, he's back. With his silky-smooth lyrics and cant-help-but-shake-it beats, his new album "Just Wanna Do My Thing" brings us something to bump to either while popping-and-locking at the maddest rave, or even just something to chill to in the comfort of your own system at home. This new set, released just this month, was heralded back in January with the single "This Is My Rave", which undeniably shook up the underground urban music scene of the time, entering the charts straight at number 2 and staying in the top10 for eleven consecutive weeks. Man of many flava'z, TTP (aka Dean Zani) show's us the rap/hiphop root in him, with tracks like "Sup" and "Things Are Hevi", of which long standing fans will love every rhyme and every beat. The ballads are simple but sensuous - not too extravagant, but catchy and harmonious, where slow jams such as Can We Hook Up? Baby Lookin Buff and Tb Love Dean could soothe any screaming girly-fan to tears, send her home, and leave her wanting more. Working with producers such as DJ Muggs and artists like Usher and P. Diddy, TTP has given us an album truly worthy of recognition for his musical talented-ness.

Tha MC:
Nij

album featured in lyricalfile clik on album to view!
Nij is the latest rapper mc to take America by storm. Part of the BigBaller'z empire, Nij has earned himself the respect of such names as Snoop Dog, Dmx, and Eve. Being one of the very few out their, Nij is a highly talented artists, and has even been compared to the all-mighty Eminem.

The songs on Nij's most recent album refer to his recent life experieances, and his own takes on life. The title track of his album is a redo of the same title track of his previous album, where the mix is even crazyer than before. With lyrics like "The only reason you compare me to Em (reffering to Eminem) is 'cuz I'm not black neither" and "Yeah I'll treat you out for a meal, here's 4 dollars, go MacDonalds" the song is guaranteed to at least make you chuckle in your seat. Other songs on his album such as "Ballin My Style" and "Slam Dunk" refer to the basketball player in this mc rapper. Known to love basketball (and be very good at it) Nij has dedicated some of his lyrics to his favourite basketball team 76ers.

The tone of this album (although appearing quite comical) sends out a few particular messages, concerning his life, his position, his rapping style and gift. He delivers his material in a way that no other Asian (Filipino) MC has managed to before, and so, is a pioneer in his own right.

Rap lovers will love this album and is a must-have if you like to spot the hottest up and coming artists early. Below Nij's alternative cover to his album album "Nij Tha MC"
