Flipno Krew Performance
18/04/03

The hot-off-the-press and hyped performance of the new and upcoming group, Flipno Krew, made a fantastic finale at the Multicultural Madness concert in Earl's Court last Friday. Infamously known now, since the night, as the "Flipno Finale", the group have now set a new trend for our garage and hip hop ears. The night was filled with many different groups and performers from all different nationalities and they all gave us a show that we are likely not to forget.

The many talents included: beat boxing, an increasingly popular talent in the music industry today; various dance acts, with moves that get the crowd shouting out "Booo!" ('Booo' being the cheering kind for you music buffs who haven't kept up to date- where have you been?!); and singers that have bellowed out ballads, raged out rock n roll and harmonised out hip hop. All of which acts were superb and purely entertaining and if you missed it, you most definitely missed out- it was truly mind blowing- and speaker blowing for that matter!

The Flipno Krew consists of 5 young men, that all specialise in different fields of music. The combination of these guys is terrific and compiles the perfect ingredients for a highly successful act. Their lyrical talent is both thoughtful and clever, that injects political input and statement-making performances, as well as sentimentality and emotiveness. This is fresh new flair and is guaranteed to get your ears tingling and ready for more.

At Earls Court they provided an explosive show for their audience, with screaming girls and head-bopping guys all feeling their work. They recited three tracks on the night which showed-off their superb vocal abilities and their writing skills. Although no dance act accompanied their recital, they commented after the show that they are mainly there to feed the fans minds, was stated by Mr Milez MC, a Flipno Krew member.

Were not here as another commercial group for our youth today, we do not want to be ruled by our manager on telling us what the audience want to hear. We know what they want, we were once the audience too! says MC Volcalis, another Krew member, Our songs are about singing and performing from the heart and every act we show will tell an inner story of what we have, and all, go through at some point in our lives. Im sure my men and my women out there can relate to the different characters in our Krew, were all about expression, not exposure. Well said my man!

Sit tight for their rumoured debut album to be released before the end of this year!
