The Path of Shadowfire
The Path of ShadowFire was started by Salem long ago
but fell to an incomplete state. Something was missing from it that would
prevent it from being what it was fully intended to be. Later as Vengeance,
he gathered with Evil Blyss, for she had a wider knowledge of the kind of
effects he wished to bring forth. Together they created the Path of
ShadowFire. In the end it became the most complex of the Shadowmancy Paths.
NOTE: Immunity to normal or even abnormal Flames does not protect you
from ShadowFire. It is not a "True Fire" just like the shadows that
the Shadow Demons deal in are not "True Shadows".
Basic
ShadowFire
When used, the caster creates a ball of rippling
shadow to form in his hand, in the same instant he can direct it towards any
target within his line of sight. The move is quick and hard to defend
against but not impossible. Mortals would never be quick enough to avoid
such an attack. When contact is made, the ShadowFire causes aspects of the
target to weaken. If hit against something such as a wall, it would cause
the structure of the wall to weaken ... if against a magic shield it would
cause the shield to weaken and against a person it will cause the flesh of
the person to wither and their soul, their willpower, their resolve to
weaken. The ShadowFire leaves a mark on that which it comes in contact with.
The point of contact turns black. If such an object or person escapes they
will forever be marked and can be located easy by the one who marked them.
There is no known removal for the mark.
Armor of ShadowFire
This is the ability to gather the ShadowFire from
the Void and to surround one’s body with it. It provides an actual shield
against physical and magical attacks of any nature, because of the mystical
properties of it. The Armor appears as a black suit of armor, like the old
plate mail of the Knights of Old. The visual differences is it seems to
ripple as if it were aflame. It protects the Mind, Body and Soul of the
Shadow Demon. Also as it is made of ShadowFire, in hand to hand combat it
causes each impact to be as if someone used the power ShadowFire upon them.
Also, the armor is virtual weightless.
ShadowStrike
ShadowStrike is used to fuel oneself. When used, the
caster feeds off the ShadowFire causing his power levels to increase. His
physical strength increases, even if other powers already augment it. His
Supernatural power increases as well, damage done from disciplines and other
powers are increased by two fold.
Intermediate
Firestorm
With this ability, the caster can take the power of
the ShadowFire and project it to the target that is within sight, totally
engulfing it, and causing it to burn from the inside and on the outside.
This causes lethal damage as the ShadowFire causes the interior of the body
to weaken. The ShadowFire of this attack is abnormal. It also causes a
freeze/burn effect on the interior of the person.
ShadowFire Armory
This allows the caster to be able to form solid
masses of ShadowFire into any hand-held weapon. The weapons can never be
longer than 6 feet long. They are as solid and do the same amount of damage
as the weapon it emulates plus added with the effects of regular ShadowFire.
If used with Armor of ShadowFire the sword can be made to appear without
requiring an action.
Immunity
At this level, the Shadow Demon is almost immune to
all other forms of Shadow, Void and Abyss powers. This is not a perfect
immunity, a Shadow Demon with greater power could still force their powers
down upon the caster. Basically this power allows the Shadow Demon to take
control of the others powers when used. A normal Vampire is helpless against
this power, thus the Lasombra's hatred of Shadow Demons.
Advanced
ShadowFury
ShadowFury is almost like FireStorm, only this time
it effects multiple targets. It pulls all the shadow and rage of the area
and feeds into the ShadowFury, increasing its effect and damage. (See

Void Tempest
This power brings forth the Fury of the Void. All
around is created a violent storm of the void with ShadowFire erupting at
irregular intervals. Also in the storm, Void Spirits attack (See the The
Path of the Void) the chosen target or targets (Mass targeting of this
power is allowed), the caster is surrounded by an Aura of Darkness (See
Path of the Shade Warrior), the power Ripple (See Path of the Dark)
to affect the targets, and Soul Burn (See The Path of the Shadowed Soul)
attacks. This power is a Final Attack Power. Only to be used in the most
Dire of Emergencies due to the use of so much power. The advantage of using
this power instead of all the rest singularly is that it doesn't take as
much (But still a lot) of energy to use this power and all the effects are
one single action.
