The Necronomicon,
testament of the Daemons. The following are powers
deprived from the blood stained pages of this
unholy book. Only Daemons of Dark Faith to the
highest level may use these powers.
Level (1)
Summon the Fire Elemental
The daemon can now
summon a single Fire Elemental (from level 1-8)
and direct it to attack any individual for two
turns. All damage done by the elemental is
aggravated, more so to those that are weak against
fire.
Level (2) Form of the Spirit
This is equal to a
discipline within the Shadowpath section. The
users body becomes that of pure mist and fills
every space within an area. They must spend three
Vim to take the form and an additional two Vim for
each turn they remain in this body. Demons in this
form can attack with projectiles, firing seven per
one at half the cost of Vim.
Level (3) Reapers Swipe
With a page with
the rune of the watcher drawn onto it, the demon
can paste it to an individual, and that
individual. The "mark" as the demons call it let
the entity of death, the Reaper (thus the name)
know that the victim is ready and thus on the
third turn the paste was delt, a spirit comes out
of the Umbral realms and takes them to hell.
Level (4) Mental Mirage
The daemon in
question now has the ability to cloak its mind
from mental or psychic assult, either blocking it
or channeling it to anybody but the caster. This
power costs five Vim just to cast with an
additional Vim per turn to hold up the "cloak".
Level (5) Gift of the Shadow Prince
This costs not only
a faustion contract, but it also costs seven Vim
to cast. This discipline allows the demon to "ask"
a demon lord to give them his/her gift, this is
usually used by those of the high order, each lord
has his/her own gift;
Moloche -
The Diabolos Lord grants the gift of divine
visage, allowing the Demons intelligence to
raise by 30 points.
Shanx - The Daimone Lord grants the gift
of dark ordanance, the demon can now warp their
body to any form (solid or otherwise) they wish,
including increased size.
Belial - The Rakshasas Lord grants the
gift of unholy might, the demons strength and
battle based stats can now be raised by 14
points each.
Mephistopheles - Luciferentes Lord,
grants the gift of Second Wind, a discipline
that is used to revive the demon upon their
death, must be used before the final turn.
Level (5) Channel the Dark
This is a higher
power of Necronomicon. By taking the wandering
channels of darkness a daemon can take a
possession over it and use it to inflict damage or
bend reality even further. This power only works
in area's highly infected with evil.
Level (6) Fun House
Undoubtedly a very
high level of Necronomicon. When in use the daemon
forfeits ALL his possession powers. Using one big
possession it takes control of the house/building
its currently within, allowing it to bend walls,
or do anything relative to a "haunted house".
Level (6) Dark Orchid
Using the daemons
blood it can create tiny seeds and sow them into
the ground with mere flicks, once inside the
ground the seeds hatch and grow into vines. Each
use allows for one vine per vim discharged with a
maximum of twenty vim. EVERY vine is connected to
the "eye," a large toothed bulb inside the ground.
If the eye is destroyed, the vines become useless
and die.
Level (7) Mirror of the True Self
Casting this power
on a victim forces them to reveal their true
selves, thus if a daemon or demon were targeted
they would be forced to take their true form, thus
leaving them exposed for a final death. Using this
on species without true forms proves to be
useless, therefore one should only use this when
he's sure of his opponent.
Level (8) Armor of Faith
The use of this
power is strictly defensive. By invoking this boon
the daemon can soak damage equal to half of his
dark faith rating (one point taking away one level
of damage). There are no outward indications that
the daemon has invoked this power, even if the
enemy has used a vision aid or time seeing power.
Level (9) Painful Clergy
For every point of
Dark Faith in the daemons possession, he may
inflicted one point of damage to his target by
simply focusing his power. The damage is inflicted
instantly, thus it is nearly impossible to block
or counter. Also, this power ignores the use of
damage soaking or armor saves
