The
ancient Necronomicon told of a great Boon, created
by the Prince Lucifer himself. This boon was made
to adapt to the powerful realm of Hel, and its
powers made use of this. Four large fragments of
the Necronomicon were found in the nineteenth and
twentieth centuries. These told of the basis of
the Hel's Boon, and those elder Daemon's who
mastered the other Boons were able to learn the
lesser levels of it. Knowledge of this Boon is
considered sacred, and no weak Daemon should
possesses it. No beginning character should start
the game with this Boon, rather, extensive
role-playing should be done, and experience points
spent after such a time towards the purchase of
this Boon as an active power. Fragments of the
Necronomicon must surely be found to learn this
Boon, else the Daemon must study from an elder
Daemon. This Boon is a mere example of the hidden
powers granted to Daemons, which have been lost
throughout the course of time.
Level (1): The Daemon has the ability to
call forth the magical fires of Hel upon the
physical plane. For each successful roll, the
Daemon may summon the standard cubic foot of
Helfire.
Level (2): The Daemon can now exchange
Quintessence for Vim, manipulating the very
essence of magic within the air, into pure energy
to power their Boons. Each success allows one
point of Quintessence to be altered into a point
of Vim, and vice versa.
Level (3): The Daemon can now bring another
creature to Hel with it. Mind you, Kindred,
Mortals, without the Daemon's protection, are fair
game for whatever other stray creature may be
close by. Hel is within the utmost depths of the
Umbra, in the lower layers, also making stray
wraiths another potential threat.
System: All rolls are done as
Wits + Primal Urge, with a difficulty of six.
Mastery of this Boon takes time, but is well worth
it to the Daemon learning it.
