THE FREE REALMS
The Free Realms is an organisation of realms that arose out of the Zombie War of 1101 YAC.
"The Free Realms, with all its flaws, is the principal institution that will define justice, the law, and the need for soldiers to be put in harm's way. Coalitions have long been recognised as a necessary mechanism for wartime success, and the Free Realms serves as a coalition to provide political direction to armed forces in an ever more interdependent world."
Due to the threat posed by the Temple of Elemental Evil, the Free Realms alliance meeting scheduled to be held starting on 22-10-1101YAC has been moved to 24-10-1101YAC on ROCKPORT, the newest Free Realms-created suzerain state. Rockport will be gifted with an immortal-protected Sanctuary, in the form of a Truce Palace. Aquatican delegates attending have promised to bring some of the marble statues and other artworks recovered from the Alphan Deeps from the ruins of Truce Island to help decorate the new palace.

The Truce Palace of Rockport is the site of the Free Realms Headquarters. The proximity of the Rockport Vault allows Free Realm members states to more easily utilize the banking facilities of Rockport.

Free Realms votes on a "Forest Kingdoms" policy
After a howling, intemperate and deafening debate, a vote has carried to cede the Forest Kingdoms to the Heirs of Skull Craig and their appointees.
This follows a plan, led by the Eastern Empire, to divide up the Forest Kingdom into a series of plantations and suzerain states. How feasible this would ever have been, is not known. However, after the High Council of Chivalry attacked this plan and vowed to fight it, just as they currently are battling the Dedites, the plan was stillborn.
The Free Realms now merely hopes that the Forest Kingdoms will seek membership of their assembly. This seems very likely not to occur as the Forest Kingdom subjects have heard of the proposed rape of their lands by the Empire Faction, and are not happy about it.
