THE KNIGHTS OF LITHUANIA

Anthracite Council -- 144

The St. Casimir Guild of the Pontifical Lithuanian College in Rome:

The National Convention of the Knights of Lithuania officially adopted the Pontifical Lithuanian College in Rome. The students at the College are young student Priests from Lithuania sent to Rome to advance their studies. These young men will return to Lithuania to teach in the Seminaries and to work in the Dioceses. It is important to the church in Lithuania to keep this connection to the Vatican alive. Since the Pontifical Lithuanian College receives no support from Lithuania, we as godparents formed the St. Casimir Guild to assist in these endeavors. There are several ways you can help. You may become a member by sending a tax-exempt contribution to the St. Casimir Guild, which will then be forwarded to the Pontifical Lithuanian College to assist in its maintenance. You may request Masses. The many student priests, retired priests and those at the college have no income and the only income they receive are from Mass Stipends. If you are interested, you can receive Mass cards with instructions on how to use them.
