Married Andrew Kolesar and had two sons. Lived for a time in the "Bohemian Flats" beneath the Washington Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota USA with other Slovak families. Later moved to south Minneapolis. Attened school and worked at the Waldorf Paper Company as a floor lady. She liked to crochet.

Married twice in her lifetime, first to Melvin Leroy Forsell and then to Ivan Laly Kadiesky. Wrote the story of her life, which she called "I Remember", and also was an avid poetry writer. Also a great scrabble player. Her father was a farmer, and she moved several times during her childhood. Lived for a time in the Banfil-Locke House in Fridley, Minnesota in 1907.
