The Family Tree Webring HomepageThe Family Tree Webring is composed of web sites and personal homepages which showcase genealogy as their main subject. Sites wishing to join the ring can be run by individuals, genealogy organizations, or commerical businesses; however, all sites must focus on genealogy and be safe for both adults and children.
EDIT YOUR WEBRING SITE INFORMATION TO ADD YOUR SITE TO THE RING, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING: 1. Download the webring graphic, pictured below, to your computer, and then upload it onto your webpage server into the same directory as is the webpage you will be putting the webring information on. If you don't, the graphic will not show up.
2. Fill out the following form: 3. On the next webpage, you will be given the webring HTML code that you need to cut and paste into your webpage, along with further instructions for joining the webring. 4. Once you have added the webring HTML code & graphic to your site, please send an email to [email protected] with a message that your site is ready to be added into the ring. Your site will be reviewed, and if you have added the webring HTML code and graphic correctly to your site, your site will be added to the ring. You will receive an email message when this is done. You have ONE WEEK to put the webring information up on your site and to contact the webring owner. If you do not, your site will automatically be removed from the webring queue. If this happens, you can always resubmit your site and get a new webring HTML code generated for it.
