I remember that he loved to play poker when we visited him and my grandmother every Christmas Eve.

Andrew Harold Kolesar had the same name as his father and grandfather. Andrew H. Kolesar grew up in the Bohemian Flats, which were located under the Washington Avenue Bridge in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and south Minneapolis. He married Vivian Gertrude Forsell, and had one daughter, Frances Ann.
He worked for Minneapolis Moline for many years, and later, the University of Minnesota. He belonged to the Moose Lodge #83 located in Northeast Minneapolis, and was a member of their Klown Klub. He loved to go fishing and take photos of just about anything.
