In
class, you will be assigned a Francophone Country. You will research that country, and create a
"suitcase" for that country. A suitcase is a decorated box containing
the following items
1.
A map of your country, with the capital, major rivers and cities
labeled.
2.
Your country's flag.
3.
A sample of the country's currency (I know you probably don't have a
real one, so look it up and draw a replica of it)
4.
A "letter" from someone who lives there (this can be made up)
describing their life in that country
5. A travel brochure
for the country
6.
A petite histoire (a small booklet, or about two paragraphs on the
culture, the history, the government or anything that interests you and has not
yet been covered.)
7.
A bibliography listing your sources (you must use at least 3)
8. This check list
with your items marked
9.
Note: this is the minimum. Going
above and beyond will only improve your grade.
