This town is definitely for the Rich & Famous.....Tony Curtis had his hands imprinted in the cement and Anthony Quinn had a very big mention in a - not a shop but a boutique that did not sell anything under at least $1,000.00

AND......DID WE FEEL OUT OF PLACE!!!  HELL YES - BUT AT LEAST BALDOCK WASN'T WEARING HIS BLACK SINGLET!

You walk down the cobble stoned streets and jump on a gondola and away skiing.........all cafes etc directly at your doorstep, not like Mt. Hutt or Mt. Ruapahu!

Whistler Village is located at the base of Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains and since 1980 has been a self-contained community with a population of over 5,000 people. During peak winter periods, when travellers flock to Whistler Resort, the population jumps to nearly 30,000.

LILLOOET

BC's "Little Nugget" is situated about four hours east of Vancouver.  Population of 1760!

Lillooet's history is entrenched in the B.C. Gold Rush of 1860. Here you can step back in time and see the offerings of the past as chronicled at the local museum. Lillooet is on the Cariboo Pavilion Road (the first wagon road to be surveyed in B.C. and the route to the Cariboo gold fields).
